El SEÑOR llamó a Moisés^a y le habló desde la tienda de reunión, diciendo: 2 Habla a los hijos de Israel y diles: «Cuando alguno de vosotros traiga una ofrenda¹ al SEÑOR^a, traeréis vuestra ofrenda² de animales del ganado o del rebaño^b. 3 Si su ofrenda es un holocausto del ganado^a, ofrecerá un macho sin defecto^b; lo ofrecerá a la entrada de la tienda de reunión^c, para que sea aceptado delante del SEÑOR. 4 Pondrá su mano sobre la cabeza del holocausto^a, y le será aceptado para hacer expiación por él^b. 5 Entonces degollará el novillo¹ delante del SEÑOR^a; y los sacerdotes hijos de Aarón ofrecerán la sangre^b y la rociarán² por todos los lados sobre el altar que está a la entrada de la tienda de reunión^c. 6 Después desollará el holocausto y lo cortará en pedazos^a. 7 Y los hijos del sacerdote Aarón pondrán fuego en el altar^a, y colocarán leña sobre el fuego. 8 Luego los sacerdotes hijos de Aarón arreglarán las piezas, la cabeza y el sebo sobre la leña que está en el fuego sobre el altar^a. 9 Pero las entrañas y las patas las lavará él con agua^a. Y el sacerdote lo quemará todo sobre el altar como holocausto^b; es ofrenda encendida de aroma agradable para el SEÑOR^c.

10 »Mas si su ofrenda para holocausto es del rebaño, de los corderos o de las cabras, ofrecerá un macho sin defecto^a. 11 Y lo degollará al lado norte del altar, delante del SEÑOR; y los sacerdotes hijos de Aarón rociarán la sangre sobre el altar, por todos los lados^a. 12 Después lo dividirá en sus piezas, con su cabeza y el sebo^a, y el sacerdote los colocará sobre la leña que está en el fuego sobre el altar. 13 Pero las entrañas y las patas las lavará con agua, y el sacerdote lo ofrecerá todo, quemándolo sobre el altar; es holocausto, una ofrenda encendida de aroma agradable para el SEÑOR^a.

14 »Mas si su ofrenda para el SEÑOR es un holocausto de aves, entonces traerá su ofrenda de tórtolas o de pichones^a. 15 Y el sacerdote la traerá al altar, le quitará la cabeza y la quemará sobre el altar; y su sangre será exprimida sobre el costado del altar^a. 16 Le quitará también el buche con sus plumas y lo echará junto al altar, hacia el oriente, en el lugar de las cenizas^1a. 17 La henderá después por las alas, sin dividirla^a; y el sacerdote la quemará en el altar^b, sobre la leña que está en el fuego; es holocausto, una ofrenda encendida de aroma agradable para el SEÑOR.

Then ^athe LORD called to Moses and spoke to him from the tent of meeting, saying, 2 “Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them, ‘When any man of you brings an ^1aoffering to the LORD, you shall bring your ²offering of animals from ^bthe herd or the flock. 3 If his offering is a ^aburnt offering from the herd, he shall offer it, a male ^bwithout defect; he shall offer it ^cat the doorway of the tent of meeting, that he may be accepted before the LORD. 4 ^aHe shall lay his hand on the head of the burnt offering, that it may be accepted for him to make ^batonement on his behalf. 5 ^aHe shall slay the ¹young bull before the LORD; and Aaron’s sons the priests shall offer up ^bthe blood and ^csprinkle the blood around on the altar that is at the doorway of the tent of meeting. 6 ^aHe shall then skin the burnt offering and cut it into its pieces. 7 ^aThe sons of Aaron the priest shall put fire on the altar and arrange wood on the fire. 8 Then Aaron’s sons the priests shall arrange the pieces, the head and the ^asuet over the wood which is on the fire that is on the altar. 9 Its ^aentrails, however, and its legs he shall wash with water. And ^bthe priest shall offer up in smoke all of it on the altar for a burnt offering, an offering by fire of ^ca soothing aroma to the LORD.

10 ‘But if his offering is from the flock, of the sheep or of the goats, for a burnt offering, he shall offer it a ^amale without defect. 11 ^aHe shall slay it on the side of the altar northward before the LORD, and Aaron’s sons the priests shall sprinkle its blood around on the altar. 12 He shall then cut it into its pieces with its head and its ^asuet, and the priest shall arrange them on the wood which is on the fire that is on the altar. 13 The entrails, however, and the legs he shall wash with water. And ^athe priest shall offer all of it, and offer it up in smoke on the altar; it is a burnt offering, an offering by fire of a soothing aroma to the LORD.

14 ‘But if his offering to the LORD is a burnt offering of birds, then he shall bring his offering from the ^aturtledoves or from young pigeons. 15 The priest shall bring it to the altar, and wring off its head and offer it up in smoke on the altar; and its blood is to be drained out ^aon the side of the altar. 16 He shall also take away its crop with its feathers and cast it beside the altar eastward, to the place of the ^1aashes. 17 Then he shall tear it by its wings, but ^ashall not sever it. And the priest shall offer it up in smoke on the altar on the wood which is on the fire; ^bit is a burnt offering, an offering by fire of a soothing aroma to the LORD.
