Entonces me llevó a la puerta, la puerta que mira hacia el oriente^a; 2 y he aquí, la gloria del Dios^a de Israel venía de la parte del oriente^b. Su voz era como el sonido de muchas aguas^c, y la tierra resplandecía de su gloria^d. 3 Y tenía¹ el aspecto de la visión que vi^a, como la visión que había visto cuando Él vino² a destruir la ciudad^b; y las visiones eran como la visión que yo había visto junto al río Quebar^c. Entonces me postré sobre mi rostro^d. 4 La gloria del SEÑOR entró en el templo¹ por el camino de la puerta que da hacia el oriente^a. 5 Y el Espíritu me levantó y me llevó al atrio interior^a, y he aquí, la gloria del SEÑOR llenó el templo^b.

6 Y oí a uno que me hablaba desde el templo, mientras el hombre estaba de pie junto a mí^a, 7 y me dijo: Hijo de hombre, este es el lugar de mi trono^a, el lugar de las plantas de mis pies, donde habitaré entre los hijos de Israel para siempre^b. Y la casa de Israel no volverá a profanar mi santo nombre, ni ellos ni sus reyes, con sus prostituciones y con los cadáveres de sus reyes cuando mueran^1c, 8 poniendo su umbral junto a mi umbral^a, y sus postes junto a mis postes consolo un muro entre ellos y yo. Ellos han profanado mi santo nombre con las abominaciones que han cometido; por eso los he consumido en mi ira. 9 Que alejen ahora de mí sus prostituciones y los cadáveres^a de sus reyes, y yo habitaré entre ellos para siempre^b.

10 Y tú, hijo de hombre, describe¹ el templo² a la casa de Israel^a, para que se avergüencen^b de sus iniquidades^c, y tomen las medidas de su plano³. 11 Y si se avergüenzan de todo lo que han hecho, enséñales el diseño¹ del templo, su estructura, sus salidas, sus entradas, todos sus diseños², todos sus estatutos³ y todas sus leyes^a. Y escribe esto ante sus ojos^b para que guarden todas sus leyes⁴ y todos sus estatutos, y los cumplan^c. 12 Esta es la ley del templo: todo su territorio¹ sobre la cumbre del monte^a por todo alrededor será santísimo. He aquí,esta es la ley del templo.

13 Estas son las medidas del altar en codos¹ (cada codo de un codo y un palmo menor): la base², un codo, el ancho, un codo^a; su reborde en la orilla por todo alrededor, un palmo^b. Yesta será la altura³ del altar: 14 desde la base en el suelo hasta el zócalo inferior será de dos codos, por un codo de ancho; y desde el zócalo menor hasta el zócalo mayor será de cuatro codos, por un¹ codo de ancho^a. 15 El hogar del altar¹ será de cuatro codos, y del hogar del altar² se extenderán hacia arriba cuatro cuernos^a. 16 El hogar del altar¹ será de doce codos de largo por doce de ancho, cuadrado por sus cuatro lados^a. 17 Y el zócalo será de catorce codos de largo por catorce de ancho por sus cuatro lados; el borde alrededor será de medio codo, y su base, de un codo alrededor; sus gradas^a mirarán al oriente^b.

18 Y me dijo: Hijo de hombre^a, así dice el Señor DIOS¹: «Estos son los estatutos para el altar el día que sea construido, para ofrecer holocaustos sobre él^b y para esparcir sobre él sangre^c. 19 A los sacerdotes levitas que son de la descendencia de Sadoc^a, que se acercan a mí^b para servirme»—declara el Señor DIOS^c— «darás un novillo de la vacada para la ofrenda por el pecado^d. 20 Y tomarás de su sangre y la pondrás sobre sus cuatro cuernos^a, en los cuatro ángulos del zócalo y en el borde todo alrededor^b; así lo limpiarás y harás expiación por él^c. 21 Luego tomarás el novillo para la ofrenda por el pecado, y será quemado en el lugar señalado del templo, fuera del santuario^a. 22 Al segundo día ofrecerás un macho cabrío sin defecto para la ofrenda por el pecado^a, y purificarás el altar como lo purificaron^b con el novillo. 23 Cuando hayas terminado de purificarlo, ofrecerás un novillo sin defecto de la vacada y un carnero sin defecto del rebaño^a. 24 Los ofrecerás delante del SEÑOR, y los sacerdotes echarán sal sobre ellos y los ofrecerán en holocausto al SEÑOR^a. 25 Durante siete días prepararás diariamente un macho cabrío para la ofrenda por el pecado^a; también serán preparados un novillo de la vacada y un carnero sin defecto del rebaño. 26 Durante siete días harán expiación por el altar y lo purificarán; así lo consagrarán¹. 27 Cuando hayan terminado estos¹ días, sucederá que del octavo día^a en adelante, los sacerdotes ofrecerán² sobre el altar vuestros holocaustos y vuestras ofrendas de paz^b; y yo me complaceré en vosotros»—declara el Señor DIOS^c.

Then he led me to the ^agate, the gate facing toward the east; 2 and behold, the ^aglory of the God of Israel was coming from the way of the ^beast. And His ^cvoice was like the sound of many waters; and the earth ^dshone with His glory. 3 And it was like the appearance of the vision which I saw, like the ^avision which I saw when ¹He came to ^bdestroy the city. And the visions were like the vision which I saw by the ^criver Chebar; and I ^dfell on my face. 4 And the glory of the LORD came into the house by the way of the gate facing toward the ^aeast. 5 And the ^aSpirit lifted me up and brought me into the inner court; and behold, the ^bglory of the LORD filled the house.

6 Then I heard one speaking to me from the house, while a ^aman was standing beside me. 7 He said to me, “Son of man, this is the place of My ^athrone and the place of the soles of My feet, where I will ^bdwell among the sons of Israel forever. And the house of Israel will not again defile My holy name, neither they nor their kings, by their harlotry and by the ^1ccorpses of their kings ²when they die, 8 by setting their threshold by My threshold and their door post beside My door post, with only the wall between Me and them. And they have ^adefiled My holy name by their abominations which they have committed. So I have consumed them in My anger. 9 Now let them ^aput away their harlotry and the ¹corpses of their kings far from Me; and I will ^bdwell among them forever.

10 “As for you, son of man, ^1adescribe the ²temple to the house of Israel, that they may be ^bashamed of their iniquities; and let them measure the ^3cplan. 11 If they are ashamed of all that they have done, make known to them the ¹design of the house, its structure, its ^aexits, its entrances, all its designs, all its statutes², and all its laws. And write it ^bin their sight, so that they may observe its whole ³design and all its statutes and ^cdo them. 12 This is the ¹law of the house: its entire ²area on the top of the ^amountain all around shall be most holy. Behold, this is the ³law of the house.

13 “And these are the measurements of the ^aaltar by cubits (the ^bcubit being a cubit and a handbreadth): the ¹base shall be a cubit and the width a cubit, and its border on its edge round about one span; and this shall be the height of the ²base of the altar. 14 From the base on the ground to the lower ^aledge shall be two cubits and the width one cubit; and from the smaller ledge to the larger ledge shall be four cubits and the width ¹one cubit. 15 The ¹altar hearth shall be four cubits; and from the ²altar hearth shall extend upwards four ^ahorns. 16 Now the ¹altar hearth shall be twelve cubits long by twelve wide, ^asquare in its four sides. 17 The ledge shall be fourteen cubits long by fourteen wide in its four sides, the border around it shall be half a cubit and its base shall be a cubit round about; and its ^asteps shall ^1bface the east.”

18 And He said to me, “^aSon of man, thus says the Lord ¹GOD, ‘These are the statutes for the altar on the day it is built, to offer ^bburnt offerings on it and to ^csprinkle blood on it. 19 You shall give to the Levitical priests who are from the offspring of ^aZadok, who draw ^bnear to Me to minister to Me,’ declares the Lord GOD, ‘a ^cyoung bull for a ^dsin offering. 20 You shall take some of its blood and put it on its four ^ahorns and on the four corners of the ^bledge and on the border round about; thus you shall ^ccleanse it and make atonement for it. 21 You shall also take the bull for the sin offering, and it shall be ^aburned in the appointed place of the house, outside the sanctuary.

22 ‘On the second day you shall offer a ^amale goat without blemish for a sin offering, and they shall ^bcleanse the altar as they cleansed it with the bull. 23 When you have finished cleansing it, you shall present a ^ayoung bull without blemish and a ^bram without blemish from the flock. 24 You shall present them before the LORD, and the priests shall throw ^asalt on them, and they shall offer them up as a burnt offering to the LORD. 25 ^aFor seven days you shall prepare daily a goat for a sin offering; also a young bull and a ram from the flock, without blemish, shall be prepared. 26 For seven days they shall make atonement for the altar and purify it; so shall they ¹consecrate it. 27 When they have completed the days, it shall be that on the ^aeighth day and onward, the priests shall ¹offer your burnt offerings on the altar, and your ^bpeace offerings; and I will ^caccept you,’ declares the Lord GOD.”
