Pablo, apóstol de Cristo Jesús^a por¹ la voluntad de Dios^b:

A los santos^c que están en Efeso^2d y que son fieles^e en Cristo Jesús: 2 Gracia a vosotros y paz de parte de Dios nuestro Padre y del Señor Jesucristo^a.

3 Bendito sea el Dios y Padre de nuestro Señor Jesucristo^a, que nos ha bendecido con toda bendición espiritual en los lugares celestiales en Cristo^b, 4 según nos escogió^a en Él antes de la fundación del mundo^b, para que fuéramos¹ santos y sin mancha^c delante de Él. En amor^d 5 nos predestinó^1a para adopción como hijos para sí^b mediante Jesucristo, conforme al beneplácito² de su voluntad^c, 6 para alabanza de la gloria^a de su gracia que gratuitamente ha impartido sobre nosotros en el Amado^b. 7 En Él¹ tenemos redención^a mediante su sangre^b, el perdón de nuestros pecados^c según las riquezas de su gracia^d 8 que ha hecho abundar para con nosotros. En toda sabiduría y discernimiento¹ 9 nos dio a conocer el misterio^a de su voluntad, según el beneplácito^b que se propuso en Él^c, 10 con miras a una buena administración en el¹ cumplimiento de los tiempos^a, es decir, de reunir todas las cosas en Cristo^b, tanto las que están en los cielos, como las que están en la tierra. En Él 11 también¹ hemos obtenido herencia^2a, habiendo sido predestinados según el propósito de aquel^b que obra todas las cosas conforme al consejo de su voluntad^c, 12 a fin de que nosotros, que fuimos los primeros en esperar en Cristo¹, seamos para alabanza de su gloria^a. 13 En Él¹ también vosotros, después de escuchar el mensaje de la verdad, el evangelio^a de vuestra salvación, y habiendo creído, fuisteis sellados en Él^b con² el Espíritu Santo de la promesa^c, 14 que nos es dado como garantía^1a de nuestra herencia^b, con miras a la redención^c de la posesión adquirida de Dios^d, para alabanza de su gloria^e.

15 Por esta razón también yo, habiendo oído de la fe en el Señor Jesús que hay entre vosotros, y de vuestro amor¹ por todos los santos^a, 16 no ceso de dar gracias por vosotros^a, haciendo mención de vosotros en mis oraciones^b; 17 pidiendo que el Dios de nuestro Señor Jesucristo^a, el Padre de gloria^b, os dé espíritu de sabiduría^c y de revelación en un mejor conocimiento^1d de Él. 18 Mi oración es que los ojos de vuestro corazón sean¹ iluminados^a, para que sepáis cuál es la esperanza^b de su llamamiento^c, cuáles son las riquezas de la gloria^d de su herencia^e en los santos^f, 19 y cuál es la extraordinaria grandeza de su poder para con nosotros los que creemos, conforme a la eficacia¹ de la fuerza de su poder^a, 20 el cual obró en Cristo cuando le resucitó de entre los muertos^a y le sentó a su diestra^b en los lugares celestiales^c, 21 muy por encima de todo principado, autoridad, poder, dominio^a y de todo nombre que se nombra^b, nosolo en este siglo¹ sino también en el venidero^c. 22 Y todo sometió¹ bajo sus pies^a, y a Él lo dio por cabeza sobre todas las cosas a la iglesia^b, 23 la cual es su cuerpo^a, la plenitud de aquel^b que lo llena^c todo en todo^d.

To the ^2dsaints who are ³at ^eEphesus and ^fwho are faithful in ^gChrist Jesus: 2 ^aGrace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

3 ^aBlessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in ^bthe heavenly places in Christ, 4 just as ^aHe chose us in Him before ^bthe foundation of the world, that we would be ^choly and blameless before ¹Him. ^dIn love 5 ¹He ^apredestined us to ^badoption as sons through Jesus Christ to Himself, ^caccording to the ²kind intention of His will, 6 ^ato the praise of the glory of His grace, which He freely bestowed on us in ^bthe Beloved. 7 ^aIn ¹Him we have ^bredemption ^cthrough His blood, the ^dforgiveness of our trespasses, according to ^ethe riches of His grace 8 which He ¹lavished on ²us. In all wisdom and insight 9 He ^1amade known to us the mystery of His will, ^baccording to His ²kind intention which He ^cpurposed in Him 10 with a view to an administration ¹suitable to ^athe fullness of the times, that is, ^bthe summing up of all things in Christ, things ²in the heavens and things on the earth. In Him 11 ¹also we ^2ahave obtained an inheritance, having been ^bpredestined ^caccording to His purpose who works all things ^dafter the counsel of His will, 12 to the end that we who were the first to hope in ¹Christ would be ^ato the praise of His glory. 13 In ¹Him, you also, after listening to ^athe message of truth, the gospel of your salvation—having also ²believed, you were ^bsealed in ³Him with ^cthe Holy Spirit of promise, 14 who is ^1agiven as a pledge of ^bour inheritance, with a view to the ^credemption of ^dGod’s own possession, ^eto the praise of His glory.

15 For this reason I too, ^ahaving heard of the faith in the Lord Jesus which exists among you and ¹your love for ^ball the ²saints, 16 ^ado not cease giving thanks for you, ^bwhile making mention of you in my prayers; 17 that the ^aGod of our Lord Jesus Christ, ^bthe Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of ^cwisdom and of ^drevelation in the ¹knowledge of Him. 18 I pray that ^athe eyes of your heart ¹may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the ^bhope of His ^ccalling, what are ^dthe riches of the glory of ^eHis inheritance in ^fthe ²saints, 19 and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe. ^aThese are in accordance with the working of the ^bstrength of His might 20 which He brought about in Christ, when He ^araised Him from the dead and ^bseated Him at His right hand in ^cthe heavenly places, 21 far above ^aall rule and authority and power and dominion, and every ^bname that is named, not only in ^cthis age but also in the one to come. 22 And He ^aput all things in subjection under His feet, and gave Him as ^bhead over all things to the church, 23 which is His ^abody, the ^bfullness of Him who ^cfills ^dall in all.
