Entonces habló el SEÑOR a Moisés, diciendo: 2 Habla a toda la congregación de los hijos de Israel y diles: «Seréis santos porque yo, el SEÑOR vuestro Dios, soy santo^a. 3 Cada uno de vosotros ha de reverenciar¹ a su madre y a su padre^a. Y guardaréis mis días de reposo^b; yo soy el SEÑOR vuestro Dios^c. 4 No os volváis a los ídolos^a, ni hagáis para vosotros dioses de fundición^b; yo soy el SEÑOR vuestro Dios.

5 »Cuando ofrezcáis sacrificio de ofrendas de paz al SEÑOR, ofrecedlo de tal manera que seáis aceptos. 6 Será comido el mismo día que lo ofrezcáis y al día siguiente; pero lo que quede hasta el tercer día será quemado en el fuego. 7 Y si se come algo de él en el tercer día, es una abominación; no será acepto. 8 Y todo el que lo coma llevará su iniquidad, porque ha profanado lo santo del SEÑOR; y esa persona será cortada de entre su pueblo¹.

9 »Cuando siegues¹ la mies de tu² tierra, no segarás hasta los últimos rincones de tu campo, ni espigarás el sobrante de tu mies^a. 10 Tampoco rebuscarás tu viña, ni recogerás el fruto caído de tu viña; lo dejarás para el pobre y para el forastero. Yo soy el SEÑOR vuestro Dios.

11 »No hurtaréis, ni engañaréis, ni os mentiréis unos a otros^a. 12 Y no juraréis en falso por mi nombre^a, profanando así el nombre de tu Dios^b; yo soy el SEÑOR.

13 »No oprimirás a tu prójimo, ni le robarás^a. El salario de un jornalero no ha de quedar contigo toda la noche hasta la mañana^b. 14 No maldecirás al sordo, ni pondrás tropiezo delante del ciego^a, sino que tendrás temor de¹ tu Dios; yo soy el SEÑOR.

15 »No harás injusticia en el juicio^a; no favorecerás al pobre ni complacerás al rico¹, sino que con justicia juzgarás a tu prójimo. 16 No andarás de calumniador entre tu pueblo^1a; no harás nada² contra la vida³ de tu prójimo^b; yo soy el SEÑOR.

17 »No odiarás a tu compatriota¹ en tu corazón^a; podrás ciertamente reprender a tu prójimo^b, pero no incurrirás en pecado a causa de él. 18 No te vengarás^a, ni guardarás rencor a los hijos de tu pueblo^b, sino que amarás a tu prójimo como a ti mismo^c; yo soy el SEÑOR.

19 »Mis estatutos guardaréis. No ayuntarás dos clases distintas de tu ganado; no sembrarás tu campo con dos clases de semilla^a, ni te pondrás un vestido con mezcla de dos clases de material. 20 Si un hombre se acuesta con una mujer que sea sierva adquirida para otro hombre, pero que no haya sido redimida ni se le haya dado su libertad, habrá castigo; sin embargo no se les dará muerte, porque ella no era libre^a. 21 Y él traerá al SEÑOR su ofrenda por la culpa a la entrada de la tienda de reunión; traerá un carnero como ofrenda por la culpa^a. 22 Y el sacerdote hará expiación por él con el carnero de la ofrenda por la culpa, delante del SEÑOR, por el pecado que ha cometido; y el pecado que ha cometido le será perdonado.

23 »Cuando entréis en la tierra y plantéis toda clase de árboles frutales¹, tendréis por prohibido² su fruto. Por tres años os será prohibido³; no se comerá. 24 Pero en el cuarto año todo su fruto os será santo, una ofrenda de alabanza al SEÑOR. 25 Mas en el quinto año comeréis de su fruto, para que os aumente su rendimiento; yo soy el SEÑOR vuestro Dios.

26 »No comeréis cosa alguna con su¹ sangre^a, ni seréis adivinos ni agoreros^b. 27 No cortaréis en forma circular los extremos de vuestra cabellera¹, ni dañaréis² los bordes de vuestra³ barba^a. 28 No haréis sajaduras en vuestro cuerpo¹ por un muerto², ni os haréis tatuajes; yo soy el SEÑOR.

29 »No degradarás¹ a tu hija haciendo que se prostituya^2a, para que la tierra no se entregue a la prostitución ni³ se llene de corrupción. 30 Mis días de reposo guardaréis^a y tendréis mi santuario en reverencia^b; yo soy el SEÑOR.

31 »No os volváis a los médium ni a los espiritistas^1a, ni los busquéis para ser contaminados por ellos. Yo soy el SEÑOR vuestro Dios.

32 »Delante de las canas¹ te pondrás en pie; honrarás al anciano^2a, y a tu Dios temerás³; yo soy el SEÑOR.

33 »Cuando un extranjero¹ resida con vosotros en vuestra tierra, no lo maltrataréis^a. 34 El extranjero que resida con vosotros os será como uno nacido¹ entre vosotros, y lo amarás como a ti mismo^a, porque extranjeros fuisteis vosotros en la tierra de Egipto; yo soy el SEÑOR vuestro Dios.

35 »No haréis injusticia en los juicios¹, ni en las medidas de peso ni de capacidad^a. 36 Tendréis balanzas justas, pesas justas, un efa¹ justo y un hin² justo^a. Yo soy el SEÑOR vuestro Dios que os saqué de la tierra de Egipto. 37 Así pues, observaréis todos mis estatutos y todas mis ordenanzas, y los cumpliréis¹; yo soy el SEÑOR».

Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying:

2 “Speak to all the congregation of the sons of Israel and say to them, ‘^aYou shall be holy, for I the LORD your God am holy. 3 Every one of you ^ashall reverence his mother and his father, and you shall keep ^bMy sabbaths; ^cI am the LORD your God. 4 Do not turn to ^aidols or make for yourselves molten ^bgods; I am the LORD your God.

5 ‘Now when you offer a sacrifice of peace offerings to the LORD, you shall offer it so that you may be accepted. 6 It shall be eaten the same day you offer it, and the next day; but what remains until the third day shall be burned with fire. 7 So if it is eaten at all on the third day, it is an offense; it will not be accepted. 8 Everyone who eats it will bear his iniquity, for he has profaned the holy thing of the LORD; and that person shall be cut off from his people.

9 ‘^aNow when you reap the harvest of your land, you shall not reap to the very corners of your field, nor shall you gather the gleanings of your harvest. 10 Nor shall you glean your vineyard, nor shall you gather the fallen fruit of your vineyard; you shall leave them for the needy and for the stranger. I am the LORD your God.

11 ‘^aYou shall not steal, nor deal falsely, ^bnor lie to one another. 12 ^aYou shall not swear falsely by My name, so as to ^bprofane the name of your God; I am the LORD.

13 ‘^aYou shall not oppress your neighbor, nor rob him. ^bThe wages of a hired man are not to remain with you all night until morning. 14 You shall not curse a deaf man, nor ^aplace a stumbling block before the blind, but you shall revere your God; I am the LORD.

15 ‘^aYou shall do no injustice in judgment; you shall not be partial to the poor nor defer to the great, but you are to judge your neighbor fairly. 16 You shall not go about as ^aa slanderer among your people, and you are not to ¹act against the ^2blife of your neighbor; I am the LORD.

17 ‘You ^ashall not hate your ¹fellow countryman in your heart; you ^bmay surely reprove your neighbor, but shall not incur sin because of him. 18 ^aYou shall not take vengeance, ^bnor bear any grudge against the sons of your people, but ^cyou shall love your neighbor as yourself; I am the LORD.

19 ‘You are to keep My statutes. You shall not breed together two kinds of your cattle; ^ayou shall not sow your field with two kinds of seed, nor wear a garment upon you of two kinds of material mixed together.

20 ‘^aNow if a man lies carnally with a woman who is a slave acquired for another man, but who has in no way been redeemed nor given her freedom, there shall be punishment; they shall not, however, be put to death, because she was not free. 21 He shall bring his guilt offering to the LORD to the doorway of the tent of meeting, ^aa ram for a guilt offering. 22 The priest shall also make atonement for him with the ram of the guilt offering before the LORD for his sin which he has committed, and the sin which he has committed will be forgiven him.

23 ‘When you enter the land and plant all kinds of trees for food, then you shall count their fruit as ¹forbidden. Three years it shall be ²forbidden to you; it shall not be eaten. 24 But in the fourth year all its fruit shall be holy, an offering of praise to the LORD. 25 In the fifth year you are to eat of its fruit, that its yield may increase for you; I am the LORD your God.

26 ‘You shall not eat anything ^awith the blood, nor practice ^bdivination or soothsaying. 27 ^aYou shall not round off the side-growth of your heads nor harm the edges of your beard. 28 You shall not make any cuts in your ¹body for the ²dead nor make any tattoo marks on yourselves: I am the LORD.

29 ‘^aDo not ¹profane your daughter by making her a harlot, so that the land will not fall to harlotry and the land become full of lewdness. 30 You shall ^akeep My sabbaths and ^brevere My sanctuary; I am the LORD.

31 ‘Do not turn to ^1amediums or spiritists; do not seek them out to be defiled by them. I am the LORD your God.

32 ‘^aYou shall rise up before the grayheaded and honor the ¹aged, and you shall revere your God; I am the LORD.

33 ‘^aWhen a stranger resides with you in your land, you shall not do him wrong. 34 The stranger who resides with you shall be to you as the native among you, and ^ayou shall love him as yourself, for you were aliens in the land of Egypt; I am the LORD your God.

35 ‘^aYou shall do no wrong in judgment, in measurement of weight, or capacity. 36 You shall have ^ajust balances, just weights, a just ¹ephah, and a just ²hin; I am the LORD your God, who brought you out from the land of Egypt. 37 You shall thus observe all My statutes and all My ordinances and do them; I am the LORD.’”

Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying:

9 ‘^aNow when you reap the harvest of your land, you shall not reap to the very edges of your field, nor shall you gather the gleanings of your harvest. 10 And you shall not glean your vineyard, nor shall you gather the fallen grapes of your vineyard; you shall leave them for the needy and for the stranger. I am the LORD your God.

I am the LORD.

17 ‘You ^ashall not hate your fellow countryman in your heart; you ^bmay certainly rebuke your neighbor, but you are not to incur sin because of him. 18 ^aYou shall not take vengeance, ^bnor hold any grudge against the sons of your people, but ^cyou shall love your neighbor as yourself; I am the LORD.

19 ‘You are to keep My statutes. You shall not cross-breed two kinds of your cattle; ^ayou shall not sow your field with two kinds of seed, nor wear a garment of two kinds of material mixed together.

20 ‘^aNow if a man has sexual relations with a woman who is a slave acquired for another man, but who has in no way been redeemed nor given her freedom, there shall be punishment; they shall not, however, be put to death, because she was not free. 21 He shall bring his guilt offering to the LORD to the doorway of the tent of meeting, ^aa ram as a guilt offering. 22 The priest shall also make atonement for him with the ram of the guilt offering before the LORD for his sin which he has committed, and the sin which he has committed will be forgiven him.

23 ‘Now when you enter the land and plant all kinds of trees for food, then you shall count their fruit as ¹forbidden. For three years it shall be ²forbidden to you; it shall not be eaten. 24 And in the fourth year all its fruit shall be holy, an offering of praise to the LORD. 25 But in the fifth year you shall eat its fruit, so that its yield may increase for you; I am the LORD your God.

26 ‘You shall not eat any meat ^awith the blood. You shall not practice ^bdivination nor soothsaying. 27 ^aYou shall not round off the ¹hairline of your heads, nor trim the edges of your beard. 28 You shall not make any cuts in your ¹body for the ²dead, nor make any tattoo marks on yourselves: I am the LORD.

29 ‘^aDo not profane your daughter by making her a prostitute, so that the land does not fall into prostitution, and the land does not become full of outrageous sin. 30 You shall ^akeep My Sabbaths and ^brevere My sanctuary; I am the LORD.

31 ‘Do not turn to ^1amediums or spiritists; do not seek them out to be defiled by them. I am the LORD your God.

32 ‘^aYou shall stand up in the presence of the grayheaded and honor ¹elders, and you shall ²fear your God; I am the LORD.

33 ‘^aWhen a stranger resides with you in your land, you shall not ¹do him wrong. 34 The stranger who resides with you shall be to you as the native among you, and ^ayou shall love him as yourself, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt; I am the LORD your God.

35 ‘^aYou shall do no wrong in judgment, in measurement of weight, or volume. 36 You shall have ^aaccurate balances, accurate weights, an accurate ¹ephah, and an accurate ²hin; I am the LORD your God, who brought you out from the land of Egypt. 37 So you shall keep all My statutes and all My ordinances, and do them; I am the LORD.’”

Then the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

2 “Say to all the congregation of the children of Israel, ‘^aYou shall be holy, for I the LORD your God am holy. 1+@Pet 1:15 3 Each of you ^ashall ¹respect his mother and his father, and you shall keep ^bMy Sabbaths; ^cI am the LORD your God. 4 Do not turn to ^aidols or make for yourselves molten ^bgods (images cast in metal) ; I am the LORD your God.

5 ‘Now when you offer a sacrifice of peace offerings to the LORD, you shall offer it so that you may be accepted. 6 It shall be eaten the same day you offer it and on the day following; and if anything remains until the third day, it shall be burned in the fire. 7 But if it is eaten at all on the third day, it is repulsive; it will not be accepted by God as an offering. 8 Everyone who eats it will bear the responsibility for his wickedness, for he has profaned a holy thing of the LORD; and that person shall be cut off from his people excluding him from the atonement made for them.

9 ‘^aNow when you reap the harvest of your land, you shall not reap to the very corners of your field, nor shall you gather the gleanings (grain left after reaping) of your harvest. 10 And you shall not glean your vineyard, nor shall you gather its fallen grapes; you shall leave them for the poor and for the stranger. I am the LORD your God.

11 ‘^aYou shall not steal, nor deal deceptively, nor ^blie to one another. Col 3:9, 10 12 ^aYou shall not swear an oath falsely by My name, so as to ^bprofane the name of your God; I am the LORD.

13 ‘^aYou shall not oppress or exploit your neighbor, nor rob him. ^bYou shall not withhold the wages of a hired man overnight until morning. 14 You shall not curse a deaf man nor ^aput a stumbling block before the blind, but you shall fear your God with profound reverence; I am the LORD.

15 ‘^aYou shall not do injustice in judgment; you shall not be partial to the poor nor show a preference for the great, but judge your neighbor fairly. 16 You shall not go around as ^aa gossip among your people, and you are not to act against the ^blife of your neighbor with slander or false testimony; I am the LORD.

17 ‘You ^ashall not hate your brother in your heart; you ^bmay most certainly rebuke your neighbor, but shall not incur sin because of him. Gal 6:1; 1+@John 2:9, 11; 3:15 18 ^aYou shall not take revenge nor ^bbear any grudge against the sons of your people, but ^cyou shall love your neighbor (acquaintance, associate, companion) as yourself; I am the LORD. 20 ‘^aNow if a man has intimate relations with a woman who is a slave acquired for marriage to another man, but who has not been redeemed nor given her freedom, there shall be punishment after an investigation; they shall not be put to death, because she was not free; 21 but he shall bring his guilt offering to the LORD to the doorway of the Tent of Meeting, ^aa ram as a guilt offering. 22 The priest shall make atonement for him with the ram of the guilt offering before the LORD for his sin which he has committed; and he shall be forgiven for his sin.

23 ‘When you enter the land and plant all kinds of trees for food, then you shall consider their fruit ¹forbidden. For three years the fruit shall be forbidden to you; it shall not be eaten. 24 In the fourth year all the fruit shall be holy, an offering of praise to the LORD. 25 In the fifth year you may eat the fruit of the trees, this is so that their yield may increase for you; I am the LORD your God.

26 ‘You shall not eat anything ^awith the blood, nor practice ^bdivination using omens or witchcraft or soothsaying. 27 ^aYou shall not trim and round off the side-growth of the hair on your heads, nor mar the edges of your beard. 28 You shall not make any cuts on your body in mourning for the dead, nor make any tattoo marks on yourselves; I am the LORD.

29 ‘^aDo not profane your daughter by making her a prostitute, so that the land will not fall to prostitution and become full of wickedness. 30 You shall ^akeep My Sabbaths and ^brevere My sanctuary. I am the LORD.

31 ‘Do not turn to ^amediums who pretend to consult the dead or to spiritists who have spirits of divination; do not seek them out to be defiled by them. I am the LORD your God.

32 ‘^aYou shall rise before the gray-headed and honor the aged, and you shall fear your God with profound reverence; I am the LORD.

33 ‘When ^aa stranger resides with you in your land, you shall not oppress or mistreat him. 34 But the stranger who resides with you shall be to you like someone native-born among you; and ^ayou shall love him as yourself, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt; I am the LORD your God.

35 ‘^aYou shall do no wrong in judgment, in measurement of weight or quantity. 36 You shall have ^ajust and accurate balances, just weights, a just ephah, and a just ¹hin. I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt. 37 You shall observe and keep all My statutes and all My ordinances and do them. I am the LORD.’”
