Estas cosas habló Jesús, y alzando los ojos al cielo^a, dijo: Padre, la hora ha llegado; glorifica a tu Hijo, para que el Hijo te glorifique a ti^b, 2 por cuanto le diste autoridad sobre todo ser humano^1a para que dé vida eterna^b a todos los que tú le has dado^2c. 3 Y esta es la vida eterna: que te conozcan a ti, el único Dios verdadero^a, y a Jesucristo, a quien has enviado^b. 4 Yo te glorifiqué^a en la tierra, habiendo terminado la obra que me diste que hiciera^b. 5 Y ahora, glorifícame tú, Padre^a, junto a ti, con la gloria que tenía contigo antes que el mundo existiera^b. 6 He manifestado tu nombre^a a los hombres que del mundo me diste^b; eran tuyos^c y me los diste, y han guardado tu palabra^d. 7 Ahora han conocido que todo lo que me has dado viene de ti; 8 porque yo les he dado las palabras^a que me diste^b; y las recibieron, y entendieron que en verdad salí de ti^c, y creyeron que tú me enviaste^d. 9 Yo ruego por ellos^a; no ruego por el mundo^b, sino por los que me has dado^c; porque son tuyos^d; 10 y todo lo mío es tuyo, y lo tuyo, mío^a; y he sido glorificado en ellos. 11 Ya no estoy en el mundo, pero ellos sí están en el mundo, y yo voy a ti^a. Padre santo^b, guárdalos en tu nombre, el nombre que¹ me has dado^c, para que sean uno, así como nosotros^d. 12 Cuando estaba con ellos, los guardaba en tu nombre, el nombre que¹ me diste^a; y los guardé y ninguno se perdió^b, excepto el hijo de perdición^c, para que la Escritura se cumpliera^d. 13 Pero ahora voy a ti^a; y hablo esto en el mundo para que tengan mi gozo completo en sí mismos^b. 14 Yo les he dado tu palabra y el mundo los ha odiado^a, porque no son del mundo, como tampoco yo soy del mundo^b. 15 No te ruego que los saques del mundo, sino que los guardes del¹ maligno^2a. 16 Ellos no son del mundo, como tampoco yo soy del mundo^a. 17 Santifícalos en la verdad; tu palabra es verdad^a. 18 Como tú me enviaste^a al mundo, yo también los he enviado^b al mundo. 19 Y por ellos yo me santifico^a, para que ellos también sean santificados^b en la verdad^c. 20 Mas no ruegosolo porestos, sino también por los que han de creer en mí por la palabra de ellos, 21 para que todos sean uno. Como tú, oh Padre, estás en mí y yo en ti^a, que también ellos estén en nosotros, para que el mundo crea¹ que tú me enviaste^b. 22 La gloria que me diste^a les he dado, para que sean uno, así como nosotros somos uno: 23 yo en ellos, y tú en mí, para que sean perfeccionados en unidad^1a, para que el mundo sepa² que tú me enviaste^b, y que los amaste^c tal como me has amado a mí. 24 Padre, quiero que los que me has dado^a, estén también conmigo donde yo estoy^1b, para que vean mi gloria, la gloria que me has dado^c; porque me has amado desde antes de la fundación del mundo^d. 25 Oh Padre justo^a, aunque¹ el mundo no te ha conocido, yo te he conocido^b, yestos han conocido que tú me enviaste^c. 26 Yo les he dado a conocer tu nombre^a, y lo daré a conocer, para que el amor con que me amaste^b esté en ellos y yo en ellos.

Jesus spoke these things; and ^alifting up His eyes to heaven, He said, “Father, the hour has come; ^bglorify Your Son, that the Son may glorify You, 2 even as ^aYou gave Him authority over all flesh, that ^bto ¹all whom You have given Him, ^cHe may give eternal life. 3 This is eternal life, that they may know You, ^athe only true God, and Jesus Christ whom ^bYou have sent. 4 ^aI glorified You on the earth, ^1bhaving accomplished the work which You have given Me to do. 5 Now, Father, ^aglorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had ^bwith You before the world was.

6 “^aI have manifested Your name to the men whom ^bYou gave Me out of the world; they were ^cYours and You gave them to Me, and they have ^dkept Your word. 7 Now they have come to know that everything You have given Me is from You; 8 for ^athe words which You gave Me ^bI have given to them; and they received them and truly understood that ^cI came forth from You, and they believed that ^dYou sent Me. 9 ^aI ask on their behalf; ^bI do not ask on behalf of the world, but of those whom ^cYou have given Me; for ^dthey are Yours; 10 and ^aall things that are Mine are Yours, and Yours are Mine; and I have been glorified in them. 11 I am no longer in the world; and yet ^athey themselves are in the world, and ^bI come to You. ^cHoly Father, keep them in Your name, the name ^dwhich You have given Me, that ^ethey may be one even as We are. 12 While I was with them, I was keeping them in Your name ^awhich You have given Me; and I guarded them and ^bnot one of them perished but ^cthe ¹son of perdition, so that the ^dScripture would be fulfilled.

13 But now ^aI come to You; and ^bthese things I speak in the world so that they may have My ^cjoy made full in themselves. 14 I have given them Your word; and ^athe world has hated them, because ^bthey are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. 15 I do not ask You to take them out of the world, but to keep them ¹from ^2athe evil one. 16 ^aThey are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. 17 ^aSanctify them in the truth; Your word is truth. 18 As ^aYou sent Me into the world, ^bI also have sent them into the world. 19 For their sakes I ^asanctify Myself, that they themselves also may be ^bsanctified ^cin truth.

20 “I do not ask on behalf of these alone, but for those also who believe in Me through their word; 21 that they may all be one; ^aeven as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us, ^bso that the world may ¹believe that ^cYou sent Me.

22 The ^aglory which You have given Me I have given to them, that they may be one, just as We are one; 23 ^aI in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected ¹in unity, so that the world may ²know that ^bYou sent Me, and ^cloved them, even as You have loved Me. 24 Father, I desire that ^athey also, whom You have given Me, ^bbe with Me where I am, so that they may see My ^cglory which You have given Me, for You loved Me before ^dthe foundation of the world.

25 “O ^arighteous Father, ¹although ^bthe world has not known You, yet I have known You; and these have known that ^cYou sent Me; 26 and ^aI have made Your name known to them, and will make it known, so that ^bthe love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.”

6 “^aI have revealed Your name to the men whom ^bYou gave Me out of the world; they were ^cYours and You gave them to Me, and they have ^dfollowed Your word. 7 Now they have come to know that everything which You have given Me is from You; 8 for ^athe words which You gave Me ^bI have given to them; and they received them and truly understood that ^cI came forth from You, and they believed that ^dYou sent Me. 9 ^aI ask on their behalf; ^bI do not ask on behalf of the world, but on the behalf of those whom ^cYou have given Me, because ^dthey are Yours; 10 and ^aall things that are Mine are Yours, and Yours are Mine; and I have been glorified in them. 11 I am no longer going to be in the world; and yet ^athey themselves are in the world, and ^bI am coming to You. ^cHoly Father, keep them in Your name, the name ^dwhich You have given Me, so that ^ethey may be one just as We are. 12 While I was with them, I was keeping them in Your name, ^awhich You have given Me; and I guarded them, and ^bnot one of them perished except ^cthe ¹son of destruction, so that the ^dScripture would be fulfilled.

13 But now ^aI am coming to You; and ^bthese things I speak in the world so that they may have My ^cjoy made full in themselves. 14 I have given them Your word; and ^athe world has hated them because ^bthey are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. 15 I am not asking You to take them out of the world, but to keep them away from ^1athe evil one. 16 ^aThey are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. 17 ^aSanctify them in the truth; Your word is truth. 18 Just as ^aYou sent Me into the world, ^bI also sent them into the world. 19 And for their sakes I ^asanctify Myself, so that they themselves also may be ^bsanctified ^cin truth.

25 “^aRighteous Father, ¹although ^bthe world has not known You, yet I have known You; and these have known that ^cYou sent Me; 26 and ^aI have made Your name known to them, and will make it known, so that ^bthe love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.”

When Jesus had spoken these things, He ^araised His eyes to heaven in prayer and said, “Father, the ¹hour has come. ^bGlorify Your Son, so that Your Son may glorify You. 2 Just as ^aYou have given Him power and authority over all mankind, now glorify Him so that ^bHe may give eternal life ^1cto all whom You have given Him to be His—permanently and forever. 3 Now this is eternal life: that they may know You, ^athe only true supreme and sovereign God, and in the same manner know Jesus as the Christ whom ^bYou have sent. 4 ^aI have glorified You down here on the earth ^bby ¹completing the work that You gave Me to do. 5 Now, Father, ^aglorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory and majesty that I had ^bwith You before the world existed.

6 “^aI have manifested Your name and revealed Your very self, Your real self to the people whom ^bYou have given Me out of the world; they were ^cYours and You gave them to Me, and they have ^dkept and obeyed Your word. 7 Now at last they know with confident assurance that all You have given Me is from You it is really and truly Yours. 8 For ^athe words which You gave Me ^bI have given them; and they received and accepted them and truly understood with confident assurance that ^cI came from You from Your presence, and they believed without any doubt that ^dYou sent Me. 9 ^aI pray for them; ^bI do not pray for the world, but for those ^cYou have given Me, because ^dthey belong to You; 10 and ^aall things that are Mine are Yours, and all things that are Yours are Mine; and I am glorified in them. 11 I am no longer in the world; yet ^athey are still in the world, and ^bI am coming to You. ^cHoly Father, keep them in Your name, the name ^dwhich You have given Me, so that ^ethey may be one just as We are. 12 While I was with them, I was keeping them in Your name ^awhich You have given Me; and I guarded them and protected them, and ^bnot one of them was lost except ^1cthe son of destruction, so that the ^dScripture would be fulfilled. Ps 41:9; John 6:70

13 But now ^aI am coming to You; and ^bI say these things while I am still in the world so that they may experience My ^cjoy made full and complete and perfect within them filling their hearts with My delight. 14 I have given to them Your word the message You gave Me; and ^athe world has hated them because ^bthey are not of the world and do not belong to the world, just as I am not of the world and do not belong to it. 15 I do not ask You to take them out of the world, but that You keep them and protect them from ^athe evil one. 16 ^aThey are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. 17 ^aSanctify them in the truth set them apart for Your purposes, make them holy; Your word is truth. 18 Just as ^aYou commissioned and sent Me into the world, ^bI also have commissioned and sent them (believers) into the world. 19 For their sake ¹I ^asanctify Myself to do Your will, so that they also may be ^bsanctified set apart, dedicated, made holy ^cin Your truth.

20 “I do not pray for these alone it is not for their sake only that I make this request, but also for all those who will ever believe and trust in Me through their message, 21 that they all may be one; ^ajust as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be one in Us, ^bso that the world may believe without any doubt that ^cYou sent Me.

22 I have given to them the ^aglory and honor which You have given Me, that they may be one, just as We are one; 23 ^aI in them and You in Me, that they may be perfected and completed into one, so that the world may know without any doubt that ^bYou sent Me, and that You have ^cloved them, just as You have loved Me. 24 Father, I desire that ^athey also, whom You have given to Me as Your gift to Me, ^bmay be with Me where I am, so that they may see My ^cglory which You have given Me, because You loved Me before ^dthe foundation of the world.

25 “O ^ajust and righteous Father, although ^bthe world has not known You and has never acknowledged You and the revelation of Your mercy, yet I have always known You; and these believers know without any doubt that ^cYou sent Me; 26 ^aand I have made Your name known to them, and will continue to make it known, so that ^bthe love with which You have loved Me may be in them overwhelming their heart, and I may be in them.”
