68 Some of the heads of fathers’ households, when they arrived at the house of the LORD which is in Jerusalem, offered willingly for the house of God to ¹restore it on its foundation. 69 According to their ability they gave ^ato the treasury for the work 61,000 gold drachmas and 5,000 silver minas and 100 priestly ¹garments.

68 Some of the ¹heads of the fathers’ households (extended families) , when they arrived at the house of the LORD in Jerusalem, made voluntary contributions for the house of God to rebuild it on its old foundation. 69 They gave according to their ability ^ato the treasury for the work, 61,000 drachmas of gold, 5,000 minas of silver, and 100 priestly linen garments.

70 ^aSo the priests, the Levites, some of the people, the singers, the gatekeepers, and the temple servants settled in their own cities, and all Israel gradually settled into their cities.
