Los proverbios de Salomón^a.El hijo sabio alegra al padre^b,pero el hijo necio es tristeza para su madre^c.

2 Tesoros mal adquiridos¹ no aprovechan,mas la justicia libra de la muerte^a.3 El SEÑOR no permitirá que el justo¹ padezca hambre^a,pero rechazará la avidez de los impíos^b.4 Pobre es el que trabaja con mano¹ negligente,mas la mano de los diligentes enriquece^a.5 Él que recoge en el verano es hijo sabio,el que duerme durante la siega es hijo que avergüenza.6 Hay bendiciones sobre la cabeza del justo^a,pero la boca de los impíos oculta violencia^b.7 La memoria del justo es bendita^a,pero el nombre del impío se pudrirá^b.8 El sabio de corazón aceptará mandatos^a,mas el necio charlatán¹ será derribado.9 Él que anda en integridad anda seguro^a,mas el que pervierte sus caminos será descubierto^b.10 Él que guiña el ojo^a causa disgustos¹,y el necio charlatán² será derribado^b.11 Fuente de vida es la boca del justo^a,pero la boca de los impíos encubre violencia^b.12 El odio suscita rencillas,pero el amor cubre todas las transgresiones^a.13 En los labios del entendido se halla sabiduría^a,pero la vara es para las espaldas del falto de entendimiento¹^b.14 Los sabios atesoran conocimiento^a,pero la boca del necio es ruina cercana^b.15 La fortuna del rico es su fortaleza¹^a,la ruina de los pobres es su pobreza^b.16 El salario¹ del justo es² vida,la ganancia del impío, castigo³^a.17 Por senda de vida va el que guarda la instrucción^a,mas el que abandona la reprensión se extravía.18 Él que oculta el odio tiene labios mentirosos^a,y el que esparce calumnia es un necio.19 En las muchas palabras, la transgresión es inevitable^a,mas el que refrena sus labios es prudente^b.20 La lengua del justo es plata escogida^a,pero el corazón de los impíos es poca cosa.21 Los labios del justo apacientan a muchos^a,pero los necios mueren por falta de entendimiento¹^b.22 La bendición del SEÑOR es la que enriquece^a,y Él no añade tristeza con ella.23 Como diversión es para el necio el hacer maldad,y la sabiduría lo es para el hombre de entendimiento^a.24 Lo que el impío teme vendrá sobre él^a,y el deseo de los justos será concedido^b.25 Cuando pasa el torbellino, ya no existe el impío^a,pero el justo tiene cimiento eterno^b.26 Como el vinagre a los dientes y el humo a los ojos,así es el perezoso para quienes lo envían^a.27 El temor del SEÑOR multiplica los días^a,mas los años de los impíos serán acortados^b.28 La esperanza de los justos es alegría^a,pero la expectación de los impíos perecerá^b.29 Fortaleza para el íntegro es el camino del SEÑOR^a,pero ruina para los que obran iniquidad^b.30 El justo nunca será conmovido^a,mas los impíos no habitarán en la tierra^b.31 La boca del justo emite sabiduría^a,pero la lengua perversa será cortada^b.32 Los labios del justo dan a conocer lo agradable^a,pero la boca de los impíos, lo perverso^b.

2 ¹^aIll-gotten gains do not profit,But righteousness delivers from death.3 The LORD ^awill not allow the ¹righteous to hunger,But He ^bwill ²reject the craving of the wicked.4 Poor is he who works with a negligent hand,But the ^ahand of the diligent makes rich.5 He who gathers in summer is a son who acts wisely,But he who sleeps in harvest is a son who acts shamefully.6 ^aBlessings are on the head of the righteous,But ^bthe mouth of the wicked conceals violence.7 The ^amemory of the righteous is blessed,But ^bthe name of the wicked will rot.8 The ^awise of heart will receive commands,But ¹a babbling fool will be ²ruined.9 He ^awho walks in integrity walks securely,But ^bhe who perverts his ways will be found out.10 He ^awho winks the eye causes trouble,And ¹^ba babbling fool will be ²ruined.11 The ^amouth of the righteous is a fountain of life,But ^bthe mouth of the wicked conceals violence.12 Hatred stirs up strife,But ^alove covers all transgressions.13 On ^athe lips of the discerning, wisdom is found,But ^ba rod is for the back of him who lacks ¹understanding.14 Wise men ^astore up knowledge,But with ^bthe mouth of the foolish, ruin is at hand.15 The ^arich man’s wealth is his ¹fortress,The ^bruin of the poor is their poverty.16 The ¹^awages of the righteous is life,The income of the wicked, punishment.17 He ^ais on the path of life who heeds instruction,But he who ignores reproof goes astray.18 He ^awho conceals hatred has lying lips,And he who spreads slander is a fool.19 When there are ^amany words, transgression is unavoidable,But ^bhe who restrains his lips is wise.20 The tongue of the righteous is as ^achoice silver,The heart of the wicked is worth little.21 The ^alips of the righteous feed many,But fools ^bdie for lack of ¹understanding.22 It is the ^ablessing of the LORD that makes rich,And He adds no sorrow to it.23 Doing wickedness is like ^asport to a fool,And so is wisdom to a man of understanding.24 What ^athe wicked fears will come upon him,But the ^bdesire of the righteous will be granted.25 When the ^awhirlwind passes, the wicked is no more,But the ^brighteous has an everlasting foundation.26 Like vinegar to the teeth and smoke to the eyes,So is the ^alazy one to those who send him.27 The ^afear of the LORD prolongs ¹life,But the ^byears of the wicked will be shortened.28 The ^ahope of the righteous is gladness,But the ^bexpectation of the wicked perishes.29 The ^away of the LORD is a stronghold to the upright,But ^bruin to the workers of iniquity.30 The ^arighteous will never be shaken,But ^bthe wicked will not dwell in the land.31 The ^amouth of the righteous flows with wisdom,But the ^bperverted tongue will be cut out.32 The lips of the righteous bring forth ^awhat is acceptable,But the ^bmouth of the wicked what is perverted.

Ps 112:6; 9:58 The ^awise in heart are willing to learn so they will accept and obey commands (instruction) ,But the babbling fool who is arrogant and thinks himself wise will come to ruin.9 He ^awho walks in integrity and with moral character walks securely,But ^bhe who takes a crooked way will be discovered and punished.10 He ^awho maliciously winks the eye of evil intent causes trouble;And the ^bbabbling fool who is arrogant and thinks himself wise will come to ruin.11 The ^amouth of the righteous is a fountain of life and his words of wisdom are a source of blessing,But ^bthe mouth of the wicked conceals violence and evil.12 Hatred stirs up strife,But ^alove covers and overwhelms all transgressions forgiving and overlooking another’s faults.13 On ^athe lips of the discerning, skillful and godly wisdom is found,But discipline and the ^brod are for the back of the one who is without common sense and understanding.14 Wise men ^astore up and treasure knowledge in mind and heart,But with ^bthe mouth of the foolish, ruin is at hand.15 The ^arich man’s wealth is his fortress;The ^bruin of the poor is their poverty. Rom 6:21-23; 1+@Tim 6:1017 He who learns from instruction and correction is on ^athe right path of life and for others his example is a path toward wisdom and blessing,But he who ignores and refuses correction goes off course and for others his example is a path toward sin and ruin.18 He ^awho hides hatred has lying lips,And he who spreads slander is a fool. Prov 26:24-2619 When there are ^amany words, transgression and offense are unavoidable,But ^bhe who controls his lips and keeps thoughtful silence is wise.20 The tongue of the righteous is like ^aprecious silver (greatly valued) ;The heart of the wicked is worth little.21 The ^alips of the righteous feed and guide many,But fools who reject God and His wisdom ^bdie for lack of understanding.22 The ^ablessing of the LORD brings true riches,And He adds no sorrow to it for it comes as a blessing from God.23 Engaging in evil is like ^asport to the fool who refuses wisdom and chases sin,But to a man of understanding skillful and godly wisdom brings joy.24 What the ^awicked fears will come upon him,But the ^bdesire of the righteous for the blessings of God will be granted.25 When the ^awhirlwind passes, the wicked is no more,But the ^brighteous has an everlasting foundation. Ps 125:1; Matt 7:24-2726 Like vinegar to the teeth and smoke to the eyes,So is the ^alazy one to those who send him to work.27 The reverent ^afear of the LORD worshiping, obeying, serving, and trusting Him with awe-filled respect prolongs one’s life,But the ^byears of the wicked will be shortened.28 The ^ahope of the righteous those of honorable character and integrity is joy,But the ^bexpectation of the wicked those who oppose God and ignore His wisdom comes to nothing.29 The ^away of the LORD is a stronghold to the upright,But it is ^bruin to those who do evil.30 The consistently ^arighteous will never be shaken,But ^bthe wicked will not inhabit the earth. Ps 37:22; 125:131 The ^amouth of the righteous flows with skillful and godly wisdom,But the ^bperverted tongue will be cut out.32 The lips of the righteous know (speak) ^awhat is acceptable,But the ^bmouth of the wicked knows (speaks) what is perverted (twisted) .
