^aPasado el día de reposo, María Magdalena^b, María, la madre de Jacobo¹, y Salomé, compraron especias aromáticas^c para ir a ungirle. 2 Y muy de mañana, el primer día de la semana, llegaron* al sepulcro cuando el sol ya había salido. 3 Y se decían unas a otras: ¿Quién nos removerá la piedra de la entrada del sepulcro^a? 4 Cuando levantaron los ojos, vieron* que la piedra, aunque¹ era sumamente grande, había sido removida. 5 Y entrando en el sepulcro, vieron a un joven sentado al lado derecho, vestido con ropaje blanco^a; y ellas se asustaron^b. 6 Pero él les dijo*: No os asustéis^a; buscáis a Jesús nazareno^b, el crucificado. Ha resucitado, no está aquí; mirad el lugar donde le pusieron^c. 7 Pero id, decid a sus discípulos y a Pedro: «Él va delante de vosotros a Galilea^a; allí le veréis, tal como os dijo». 8 Y saliendo ellas, huyeron del sepulcro, porque un gran temblor y espanto se había apoderado de ellas; y no dijeron nada a nadie porque tenían miedo.

9 ¹Y después de haber resucitado, muy temprano el primer día de la semana, Jesús se apareció primero a María Magdalena^a, de la que había echado fuera siete demonios. 10 Y ella fue y se lo comunicó a los que habían estado con Él^a, que estaban lamentándose y llorando. 11 Cuando ellos oyeron que Él estaba vivo y que ella le había visto, se negaron a creerlo^a.

12 Después de esto, se apareció^a en forma distinta a dos de ellos cuando iban de camino al campo^b. 13 Yestos fueron y se lo comunicaron a los demás, pero a ellos tampoco les creyeron^a.

14 Después se apareció^a a los once mismos^b cuando estaban sentados¹ a la mesa, y los reprendió por su incredulidad y dureza de corazón, porque no habían creído a los que le habían visto resucitado^c. 15 Y les dijo: Id por todo el mundo y predicad el evangelio a toda criatura^1a. 16 El que crea y sea bautizado será salvo; pero el que no crea será condenado^a. 17 Y estas señales¹ acompañarán a los que han creído: en mi nombre echarán fuera demonios^a, hablarán en nuevas lenguas^b; 18 tomarán serpientes^a en las manos, y aunque beban algo mortífero, no les hará daño; sobre los enfermos pondrán las manos, y se pondrán bien^b.

19 Entonces, el Señor Jesús, después de hablar con ellos^a, fue recibido en el cielo^b y se sentó a la diestra de Dios^c. 20 Y ellos salieron y predicaron por todas partes, colaborando el Señor con ellos, y confirmando la palabra por medio de las señales¹ que la seguían². Ellas comunicaron inmediatamente a Pedro y a sus compañeros todas estas instrucciones. Y después de esto, Jesús mismo envió por medio de ellos, desde el oriente hasta el occidente, el mensaje sacrosanto e incorruptible de la salvación eterna.³

^aWhen the Sabbath was over, ^bMary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of ¹James, and Salome, ^cbought spices, so that they might come and anoint Him. 2 Very early on the first day of the week, they *came to the tomb when the sun had risen. 3 They were saying to one another, “Who will roll away ^athe stone for us from the entrance of the tomb?” 4 Looking up, they *saw that the stone had been rolled away, ¹although it was extremely large. 5 ^aEntering the tomb, they saw a young man sitting at the right, wearing a white robe; and they ^bwere amazed. 6 And he *said to them, “^aDo not be amazed; you are looking for Jesus the ^bNazarene, who has been crucified. ^cHe has risen; He is not here; behold, here is the place where they laid Him. 7 But go, tell His disciples and Peter, ‘^aHe is going ahead of you to Galilee; there you will see Him, just as He told you.’” 8 They went out and fled from the tomb, for trembling and astonishment had gripped them; and they said nothing to anyone, for they were afraid.

9 ¹[Now after He had risen early on the first day of the week, He first appeared to ^aMary Magdalene, from whom He had cast out seven demons. 10 ^aShe went and reported to those who had been with Him, while they were mourning and weeping. 11 When they heard that He was alive and had been seen by her, ^athey refused to believe it.

12 After that, ^aHe appeared in a different form ^bto two of them while they were walking along on their way to the country. 13 They went away and reported it to the others, but they ^adid not believe them either.

14 Afterward ^aHe appeared ^bto the eleven themselves as they were reclining at the table; and He reproached them for their ^cunbelief and hardness of heart, because they had not believed those who had seen Him after He had risen. 15 And He said to them, “^aGo into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. 16 ^aHe who has believed and has been baptized shall be saved; but he who has disbelieved shall be condemned. 17 These ¹signs will accompany those who have believed: ^ain My name they will cast out demons, they will ^bspeak with new tongues; 18 they will ^apick up serpents, and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will ^blay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

19 So then, when the Lord Jesus had ^aspoken to them, He ^bwas received up into heaven and ^csat down at the right hand of God. 20 And they went out and preached everywhere, while the Lord worked with them, and confirmed the word by the ¹signs that followed.]²[And they promptly reported all these instructions to Peter and his companions. And after that, Jesus Himself sent out through them from east to west the sacred and imperishable proclamation of eternal salvation.]

14 Later, ^aJesus appeared ^bto the eleven disciples themselves as they were reclining at the table; and He called them to account for their ^cunbelief and hardness of heart, because they had not believed those who had seen Him after He had risen from death. 15 And He said to them, “^aGo into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. 16 ^aHe who has believed in Me and has been baptized will be saved from the penalty of God’s wrath and judgment; but he who has not believed will be condemned. 17 These signs will accompany those who have believed: ^ain My name they will cast out demons, they will ^bspeak in new tongues; 18 they will ^apick up serpents, and if they drink anything deadly, it will not hurt them; they will ^blay hands on the sick, and they will get well.”

19 So then, when the Lord Jesus had ^aspoken to them, He ^bwas taken up into heaven and ^csat down at the right hand of God. Ps 110:1 20 And they went out and preached everywhere, while the Lord was working with them and confirming the word by the signs that followed.]
