¹Entonces alcé los ojos y miré, y he aquí, vi un hombre con un cordel de medir en la mano^a. 2 Y le dije: ¿Adónde vas? Y me respondió: A medir a Jerusalén para ver cuánta es su anchura y cuánta su longitud^a. 3 Y he aquí, cuando el ángel que hablaba conmigo^a salía, otro ángel le salió al encuentro, 4 y le dijo: Corre, habla a ese joven^a, y dile: «Sin muros¹ será habitada^b Jerusalén^c, a causa de la multitud de hombres^d y de ganados dentro de ella. 5 Y yo seré para ella»—declara el SEÑOR— «una muralla^a de fuego en derredor, y gloria seré en medio de ella^b».

6 ¡Ea, ea! Huid de la tierra del norte^a—declara el SEÑOR—porque como a los cuatro vientos del cielo os dispersé yo—declara el SEÑOR^b. 7 ¡Ea, Sión, tú que moras con la hija de Babilonia, escápate^a! 8 Porque así dice el SEÑOR de los ejércitos, cuya¹ gloria me ha enviado contra las naciones que os despojaron^a, porque el que os toca, toca la niña de su ojo^b: 9 He aquí, alzaré mi mano contra ellas^a, y serán despojo para sus esclavos^b. Entonces sabréis que el SEÑOR de los ejércitos me ha enviado. 10 Canta de júbilo y alégrate, oh hija de Sión; porque he aquí, vengo, y habitaré en medio de ti^a—declara el SEÑOR^b. 11 Y se unirán muchas naciones al SEÑOR^a aquel día, y serán mi pueblo. Entonces habitaré en medio de ti^b, y sabrás que el SEÑOR de los ejércitos me ha enviado a ti^c. 12 Y el SEÑOR poseerá¹ a Judá, su porción en la tierra santa^a, y escogerá de nuevo a Jerusalén^b. 13 Calle toda carne delante del SEÑOR^a, porque Él se ha levantado de su santa morada^b.

¹Then I lifted up my eyes and looked, and behold, there was a man with a ^ameasuring line in his hand. 2 So I said, “Where are you going?” And he said to me, “To ^ameasure Jerusalem, to see how wide it is and how long it is.” 3 And behold, the ^aangel who was speaking with me was going out, and another angel was coming out to meet him, 4 and said to him, “Run, speak to that ^ayoung man, saying, ‘^bJerusalem will be inhabited ^1cwithout walls because of the ^dmultitude of men and cattle within it. 5 For I,’ declares the LORD, ‘will be a ^awall of fire ¹around her, and I will be the ^bglory in her midst.’”

6 “¹Ho there! ^aFlee from the land of the north,” declares the LORD, “for I have ^bdispersed you as the four winds of the heavens,” declares the LORD. 7 “Ho, Zion! ^aEscape, you who are living with the daughter of Babylon.” 8 For thus says the LORD of hosts, “After ^1aglory He has sent me against the nations which plunder you, for he who touches you, touches the ^2bapple of His eye. 9 For behold, I will ^awave My hand over them so that they will be ^bplunder for their slaves. Then you will know that the LORD of hosts has sent Me. 10 ^aSing for joy and be glad, O daughter of Zion; for behold I am coming and I will ^bdwell in your midst,” declares the LORD. 11 “^aMany nations will join themselves to the LORD in that day and will become My people. Then I will ^bdwell in your midst, and you will ^cknow that the LORD of hosts has sent Me to you. 12 The LORD will ^1apossess Judah as His portion in the holy land, and will again ^bchoose Jerusalem.

13 “^1aBe silent, all flesh, before the LORD; for He is ^baroused from His holy habitation.”

And I looked up, and saw a man with a ^ameasuring line in his hand. 2 So I said, “Where are you going?” And he said to me, “To ^ameasure Jerusalem, to see how wide it is and how long it is.” 3 And behold, the ^aangel who was speaking with me was going out, and another angel was coming out to meet him, 4 and he said to the second angel, “Run, speak to that ^ayoung man, saying, ‘^bJerusalem will be inhabited like villages ^cwithout walls spreading out into the open country because of the ^dgreat number of people and livestock in it. 5 For I,’ declares the LORD, ‘will be a ^awall of fire around her protecting her from enemies, and I will be the ^bglory in her midst.’”

6 “¹Hear this! ^aFlee from Babylon the land of the north which shall come under judgment,” declares the LORD, “for I have ^bscattered you like the four winds of the heavens,” declares the LORD. 7 “Hear, Zion (Jerusalem) ! ^aEscape, ¹you who are living with the daughter of Babylon!” 8 For thus says the LORD of hosts, “After ^1aglory He has sent Me against the nations which plunder you—for he who touches you, touches the ^bapple of His eye. 9 Behold, I will ^awave my hand over them and they shall become ^bplunder for their own slaves. Then you shall know (recognize, understand fully) that the LORD of hosts has sent Me. 10 ^aSing for joy and rejoice, O Daughter of Zion; for behold, I am coming, and I will ^bdwell in your midst,” declares the LORD. 11 “^aMany nations shall join themselves to the LORD in that day and shall be My people. And I will ^bdwell in your midst, and you shall ^cknow (recognize, understand fully) that the LORD of hosts has sent Me to you. Is 2:3; Mic 4:2 12 The LORD will ^atake possession of Judah as His portion in the holy land and will again ^bchoose Jerusalem.

13 “^aBe still before the LORD, all mankind; for He is ^broused (raised up) from His holy habitation in response to His persecuted people.” Hab 2:20; Zeph 1:7
