Oración pidiendo rescate y prosperidad

Salmo de David.

Bendito sea el SEÑOR, mi roca^a,que adiestra mis manos para la guerra^b,y mis dedos para la batalla.2 Misericordia mía y fortaleza mía^a,mi baluarte y mi libertador^b,escudo mío^c en quien me he refugiado,el que sujeta a mi pueblo¹ debajo de mí^d.3 Oh SEÑOR, ¿qué es el hombre para que tú lo tengas en cuenta¹^a,o el hijo del hombre para que pienses en él?4 El hombre es semejante a un soplo^a;sus días son como una sombra que pasa^b.

5 Oh SEÑOR, inclina tus cielos^a y desciende^b;toca los montes para que humeen^c.6 Despide relámpagos^a y dispérsalos;lanza tus flechas^b y confúndelos.7 Extiende tu mano desde lo alto^a;rescátame y líbrame de las muchas aguas^b,de la mano de extranjeros^c8 cuya boca habla falsedad^ay cuya diestra es diestra de mentira^b.

9 Oh Dios, un cántico nuevo^a te cantaré;con arpa de diez cuerdas^b cantaré alabanzas a ti,10 el que da la victoria¹ a los reyes^a,el que rescata a David^b su siervo de espada maligna.11 Rescátame y líbrame de la mano de extranjeros^a,cuya boca habla falsedad^b,y cuya diestra es diestra de mentira^c.

12 Sean nuestros hijos en su juventud como plantíos florecientes^a,y nuestras hijas como columnas de esquinas^b labradas como las de¹ un palacio.13 Estén llenos nuestros graneros^a, suministrando toda clase de sustento¹,y nuestros rebaños produzcan miles y diez miles en nuestros campos².14 Esté cargado nuestro ganado^a,sin fracasos¹^b y sin pérdida²^c,y no haya gritos en nuestras calles^d.15 Bienaventurado el pueblo a quien así le sucede;bienaventurado el pueblo cuyo Dios es el SEÑOR^a.

Blessed be the LORD, ^amy Rock and my great strength,Who ^btrains my hands for warAnd my fingers for battle;2 My steadfast lovingkindness and ^amy fortress,My ^bhigh tower and my rescuer,My ^cshield and He in whom I take refuge,Who ^dsubdues my people under me.3 LORD, ^awhat is man that You take notice of him?Or the son of man that You think of him? Job 7:17; Ps 8:4; Heb 2:64 ^aMan is like a mere breath;His ^bdays are like a shadow that passes away.

5 ^aBow Your heavens, O LORD, and ^bcome down;^cTouch the mountains, and they will smoke.6 Flash ^alightning and scatter my enemies;Send out Your ^barrows and confuse and embarrass and frustrate them.7 Stretch out Your hand ^afrom above;Set me free and ^brescue me from great waters,Out of the hands of hostile ^cforeigners who surround us8 Whose mouths ^aspeak deceit without restraint,And whose right hand is a ^bright hand of falsehood.

9 I will sing a ^anew song to You, O God;Upon a ^bharp of ten strings I will sing praises to You,10 Who ^agives salvation to kings,Who ^bsets David His servant free from the evil sword.11 Set me free and rescue me from the hand of hostile ^aforeigners,Whose mouth ^bspeaks deceit without restraint,And whose ^cright hand is a right hand of falsehood.

12 Let our sons in their youth be like ^aplants full grown,And our daughters like ^bcorner pillars fashioned for a palace;13 Let our ^abarns be full, supplying every kind of produce,And our flocks bring forth thousands and ten thousands in our fields;14 Let our ^acattle bearWithout ^bmishap and without ^closs,And let there be no ^doutcry in our streets!15 How blessed and favored are the people in such circumstance;How ^ablessed fortunate, prosperous, and favored are the people whose God is the LORD!
