Y habló el SEÑOR a Moisés y a Aarón, diciendo: 2 Los hijos de Israel acamparán, cada uno junto a su bandera, bajo¹ las insignias de sus casas paternas^a; acamparán alrededor de la tienda de reunión, a cierta distancia². 3 Los que acampen al oriente, hacia la salida del sol, serán los de la bandera del campamento de Judá, según sus ejércitos. El jefe de los hijos de Judá, Naasón, hijo de Aminadab^a, 4 y su ejército, los enumerados¹, setenta y cuatro mil seiscientos. 5 Y junto a él acampará la tribu de Isacar. El jefe de los hijos de Isacar, Natanael, hijo de Zuar^a, 6 y su ejército, los enumerados, cincuenta y cuatro mil cuatrocientos. 7 Después, la tribu de Zabulón. El jefe de los hijos de Zabulón, Eliab, hijo de Helón^a, 8 y su ejército, los enumerados, cincuenta y siete mil cuatrocientos. 9 El total de los enumerados del campamento de Judá: ciento ochenta y seis mil cuatrocientos, según sus ejércitos. Ellos partirán primero^a.

10 Al sur estará la bandera del campamento de Rubén, según sus ejércitos. El jefe de los hijos de Rubén, Elisur, hijo de Sedeur^a, 11 y su ejército, los enumerados, cuarenta y seis mil quinientos. 12 Y junto a él acampará la tribu de Simeón. El jefe de los hijos de Simeón, Selumiel, hijo de Zurisadai^a, 13 y su ejército, los enumerados, cincuenta y nueve mil trescientos. 14 Después, la tribu de Gad. El jefe de los hijos de Gad, Eliasaf, hijo de Deuel^1a, 15 y su ejército, los enumerados, cuarenta y cinco mil seiscientos cincuenta. 16 El total de los enumerados del campamento de Rubén: ciento cincuenta y un mil cuatrocientos cincuenta, según sus ejércitos. Ellos partirán en segundo lugar^a.

17 Entonces partirá la tienda de reunión con el campamento de levitas en medio de los campamentos^a; tal como acampan así partirán, cada uno en su lugar, por sus banderas.

18 Al occidente estará la bandera del campamento de Efraín^a, según sus ejércitos. El jefe de los hijos de Efraín, Elisama, hijo de Amiud^b, 19 y su ejército, los enumerados, cuarenta mil quinientos. 20 Y junto a él estará la tribu de Manasés. El jefe de los hijos de Manasés, Gamaliel, hijo de Pedasur^a, 21 y su ejército, los enumerados, treinta y dos mil doscientos. 22 Después, la tribu de Benjamín^a. El jefe de los hijos de Benjamín, Abidán, hijo de Gedeoni^b, 23 y su ejército, los enumerados, treinta y cinco mil cuatrocientos. 24 El total de los enumerados del campamento de Efraín^a: ciento ocho mil cien, según sus ejércitos. Y ellos partirán en tercer lugar.

25 Al norte estará la bandera del campamento de Dan, según sus ejércitos. El jefe de los hijos de Dan, Ahiezer, hijo de Amisadai^a, 26 y su ejército, los enumerados, sesenta y dos mil setecientos. 27 Y junto a él acampará la tribu de Aser. El jefe de los hijos de Aser, Pagiel, hijo de Ocrán^a, 28 y su ejército, los enumerados, cuarenta y un mil quinientos. 29 Después, la tribu de Neftalí^a. El jefe de los hijos de Neftalí, Ahira, hijo de Enán^b, 30 y su ejército, los enumerados, cincuenta y tres mil cuatrocientos. 31 El total de los enumerados del campamento de Dan: ciento cincuenta y siete mil seiscientos. Ellos serán los últimos en partir, según sus banderas^a.

32 Estos son los enumerados de los hijos de Israel, por sus casas paternas; el total de los enumerados de los campamentos, según sus ejércitos: seiscientos tres mil quinientos cincuenta^a. 33 Pero los levitas no fueron contados entre los hijos de Israel^a, tal como el SEÑOR había ordenado a Moisés. 34 Y los hijos de Israel hicieron conforme a todo lo que el SEÑOR había ordenado a Moisés; así acamparon por sus banderas y así partieron, cada uno según su familia, conforme a su casa paterna.

The LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying, 2 “^aThe sons of Israel shall camp, each by his own standard, with the ¹banners of their fathers’ households; they shall camp around the Tent of Meeting (tabernacle) , but at a distance. 3 Those who camp on the east side toward the sunrise shall be of the ¹standard of the camp of Judah, by their armies; and ^aNahshon the son of Amminadab shall lead the sons of Judah, 4 and his army as numbered totaled 74,600. 5 Next to Judah on the east side the tribe of Issachar shall encamp; and ^aNethanel the son of Zuar shall lead the sons of Issachar, 6 and his army as numbered totaled 54,400. 7 Then also on the east side the tribe of Zebulun; and ^aEliab the son of Helon shall lead the sons of Zebulun, 8 and his army as numbered totaled 57,400. 9 The total of the numbered men in the three tribes on the east side in the camp of Judah was 186,400, by their armies. ^aThey shall move out first on the march.

10 “On the south side shall be the ¹standard of the camp of Reuben, by their armies; and ^aElizur the son of Shedeur shall lead the sons of Reuben, 11 and his army as numbered totaled 46,500. 12 Those who camp next to Reuben on the south side shall be the tribe of Simeon; and ^aShelumiel the son of Zurishaddai shall lead the sons of Simeon, 13 and his army as numbered totaled 59,300. 14 Then completing the south side the tribe of Gad; and ^aEliasaph the son of Reuel (Deuel) shall lead the sons of Gad, 15 and his army as numbered totaled 45,650. 16 The total of the numbered men in the three tribes on the south side in the camp of Reuben was 151,450, by their armies. ^aThey shall move out second on the march.

17 “^aThen the Tent of Meeting (tabernacle) shall move out with the camp of the Levites in the middle of the other camps; just as they camp so shall they move out, every man in his place by their standards.

18 “On the west side shall be the ¹standard of the camp of ^aEphraim, by their armies; and ^bElishama the son of Ammihud shall lead the sons of Ephraim, 19 and his army as numbered totaled 40,500. 20 Beside Ephraim on the west side shall be the tribe of Manasseh; and ^aGamaliel the son of Pedahzur shall lead the sons of Manasseh, 21 and his army as numbered totaled 32,200. 22 Then completing the west side shall be the tribe of ^aBenjamin; and ^bAbidan the son of Gideoni shall lead the sons of Benjamin, 23 and his army as numbered totaled 35,400. 24 The total of the numbered men of the three tribes on the west side in the camp of Ephraim was 108,100, by their armies. ^aThey shall move out in third place.

25 “On the north side shall be the ¹standard of the camp of Dan, by their armies; and ^aAhiezer the son of Ammishaddai shall lead the sons of Dan, 26 and his army as numbered totaled 62,700. 27 Encamped next to Dan on the north side shall be the tribe of Asher; and ^aPagiel the son of Ochran shall lead the sons of Asher, 28 and his army as numbered totaled 41,500. 29 Then completing the north side comes the tribe of ^aNaphtali; and ^bAhira the son of Enan shall lead the sons of Naphtali, 30 and his army as numbered totaled 53,400. 31 The total of the numbered men of the three tribes on the north side in the camp of Dan was 157,600. ^aThey shall move out last, ¹standard after standard.”

32 These are the men of the Israelites twenty years old and upward as numbered by their fathers’ households. The total of the numbered men of the camps by their armies, ^a603,550. 33 But ^athe Levites were not numbered with the other Israelites, just as the LORD had commanded Moses. 34 Thus the Israelites did as ordered; according to everything the LORD had commanded Moses, so they camped by their standards, and so they moved out, everyone with his family (clan) , according to his fathers’ household.
