Futura gloria de Jerusalén

Levántate^a, resplandece, porque ha llegado tu luz^by la gloria del SEÑOR^c ha amanecido sobre ti.2 Porque he aquí, tinieblas cubrirán la tierra^ay densa oscuridad los pueblos;pero sobre ti amanecerá el SEÑOR,y sobre ti aparecerá su gloria^b.3 Y acudirán las naciones a tu luz,y los reyes al resplandor de tu amanecer^a.

4 Levanta tus ojos en derredor y mira^a:todos se reúnen, vienen a ti;tus hijos vendrán de lejos,y tus hijas serán llevadas en brazos¹^b.5 Entonces lo verás y resplandecerás^a,y se estremecerá y se regocijará¹ tu corazón,porque vendrá sobre ti la abundancia del mar^b,las riquezas de las naciones vendrán a ti^c.6 Una multitud de camellos te cubrirá,camellos jóvenes de Madián y de Efa^a;todos los de Sabá^b vendrán,traerán oro e incienso^c,y traerán buenas nuevas de las alabanzas del SEÑOR^d.7 Todos los rebaños de Cedar^a serán reunidos para ti,los carneros de Nebaiot estarán a tu servicio;subirán como ofrenda agradable sobre mi altar^b,y yo glorificaré¹ la casa de mi gloria²^c.8 ¿Quiénes sonestos que vuelan como nubes,y como palomas a sus ventanas¹^a?9 Ciertamente las costas me esperarán^a,y las naves de Tarsis vendrán primero^b,para traer a tus hijos de lejos^c,y su plata y su oro con ellos,por el nombre del SEÑOR tu Dios,y por el Santo de Israel que Él te ha glorificado¹^d.

10 Extranjeros edificarán tus murallas^a,y sus reyes te servirán^b;porque en mi furor te herí,pero en mi benevolencia he tenido compasión de ti^c.11 Tus puertas estarán abiertas de continuo;ni de día ni de noche se cerrarán^a,para que te traigan las riquezas de las naciones^b,con sus reyes llevados en procesión^c.12 Porque la nación y el reino que no te sirvan, perecerán,y esas naciones serán ciertamente destruidas^a.13 La gloria del Líbano vendrá a ti^a,el ciprés, el olmo y el boj a una^b,para hermosear el lugar de mi santuario;y yo haré glorioso el lugar de mis pies^c.14 Vendrán a ti humillados los hijos de los que te afligieron,se postrarán a las plantas de tus pies todos los que te despreciaban^a,y te llamarán Ciudad del SEÑOR^b,Sión del Santo de Israel^c.

15 Por cuanto tú estabas abandonada^a y aborrecida^b,sin que nadie pasara por ti,haré de ti gloria eterna,gozo de generación en generación^c.16 Y mamarás la leche de las naciones,al pecho de los reyes mamarás^a;entonces sabrás que yo, el SEÑOR, soy tu Salvador^by tu Redentor^c, el Poderoso de Jacob.17 En vez de bronce, traeré oro,en vez de hierro, traeré plata,en vez de madera, bronce,y en vez de piedras, hierro.Pondré como tus administradores la paz,y como tus gobernantes la justicia.18 No se oirá hablar más de violencia en tu tierra^a,ni de desolación, ni de destrucción dentro de tus límites^b;sino que llamarás a tus murallas salvación^c y a tus puertas alabanza^d.19 Ya el sol no será para ti luz del día,ni el resplandor de la luna te alumbrará^a;sino que tendrás al SEÑOR por luz eterna^b,y a tu Dios por tu gloria¹^c.20 Nunca más se pondrá tu sol,ni menguará tu luna^a,porque tendrás al SEÑOR por luz eterna,y se habrán acabado los días de tu luto^b.21 Entonces todos los de tu pueblo serán justos^a;para siempre poseerán la tierra^b,vástago de mi¹ plantío,obra de mis manos^c,para que yo me glorifique^d.22 El más pequeño llegará a ser un millar¹^a,y el más insignificante una nación poderosa.Yo, el SEÑOR, a su tiempo lo apresuraré.

A Glorified Zion

“^aArise from spiritual depression to a new life, shine be radiant with the glory and brilliance of the LORD; for your ^blight has come,And the ^cglory and brilliance of the LORD has risen upon you. 4 “^aLift up your eyes around you and see;They all gather together, they ^bcome to you.Your sons will come from far away,And your ^cdaughters will be looked after at their side.5 “Then you will see and be ^aradiant,And your heart will tremble with joy and rejoiceBecause the ^babundant wealth of the seas will ¹be brought to you,The ^cwealth of the nations will come to you. Ps 119:326 “A multitude of camels from the eastern trading tribes will cover you Jerusalem,The young camels of Midian and ^aEphah;All those from ^bSheba who once came to trade will comeBringing ^cgold and frankincenseAnd ^dproclaiming the praises of the LORD. Matt 2:117 “All the flocks of ^aKedar will be gathered to you as the eastern pastoral tribes join the trading tribes,The rams of Nebaioth will serve you;They will go up with acceptance as sacrifices on My ^baltar,And I will ^cglorify the house of My honor and splendor.8 “^aWho are these who fly like a cloudAnd like doves to their windows?9 “The ^aislands and coastlands will confidently wait for Me;And the ^bships of Tarshish will come first,To ^cbring your sons from far away,Their silver and gold with them,For the name of the LORD your God,For the Holy One of Israel because He has ^dglorified you.

10 “^aForeigners will build up your walls,And their ^bkings will serve you;For in My righteous ^cwrath I struck you,But in My favor and grace I have had compassion on you.11 “Your ^agates will be open continually;They shall not be shut day or night,So that people may ^bbring to you the wealth of the nations—With ^ctheir kings led in procession. Rev 21:24-2712 “For the ^anation or the kingdom which will not serve you Jerusalem shall perish,And the nations that refuse to serve shall be utterly ruined.13 “The ^aglory of Lebanon will come to you,The ¹^bcypress, the juniper, and the cedar together,To beautify the place of My sanctuary;And I will honor and make the ^cplace of My feet glorious.14 “The ^asons of those who oppressed you will come bowing down to you in submission,And all those who despised you and treated you disrespectfully will bow down at the soles of your feet,And they will call you the ^bCity of the LORD,The ^cZion of the Holy One of Israel. 15 “Whereas you Jerusalem have been ^aabandoned and ^bhatedWith no one passing through,I will make you an ^cobject of pride forever,A joy from generation to generation.16 “You will ^asuck the milk of the Gentile nationsAnd suck the breast (abundance) of kings;Then you will recognize and know that I, the LORD, am your ^bSaviorAnd your ^cRedeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.17 “Instead of bronze I will bring gold,And instead of iron I will bring silver,And instead of wood, bronze,And instead of stones, iron.And instead of the tyranny of the present I will appoint peace as your officers,And righteousness your rulers.18 “^aViolence will not be heard again in your land,Nor ^bdevastation or destruction within your borders;But you will call your ^cwalls Salvation, and your ^dgates Praise to God.19 “The ^asun will no longer be your light by day,Nor shall the bright glow of the moon give light to you,But the ^bLORD will be an everlasting light for you;And your ^cGod will be your glory and splendor. Jer 9:23, 24; Rev 21:2320 “Your ^asun will no longer set,Nor will your moon wane;For the LORD will be your everlasting light,And the days of your ^bmourning will be over.21 “Then all your ^apeople will be uncompromisingly and consistently righteous;They will ^bpossess the land forever,The branch of My planting,The ^cwork of My hands,That I may be ^dglorified.22 “The ^asmallest one will become a thousand (a clan) ,And the least one a mighty nation.I, the LORD, will quicken it in its appointed time.”
