Y Él os dio vida a vosotros, que estabais¹ muertos en² vuestros delitos y pecados^a, 2 en los cuales anduvisteis en otro tiempo^a según la corriente¹ de este mundo^b, conforme al príncipe de la potestad del aire^c, el espíritu que ahora opera en los hijos de desobediencia^d, 3 entre los cuales también todos nosotros en otro tiempo vivíamos^a en las pasiones de nuestra carne^b, satisfaciendo¹ los deseos de la carne y de la mente², y éramos por naturaleza^c hijos de ira^d, lo mismo que los demás^e. 4 Pero Dios, que es rico en misericordia^a, por causa del¹ gran amor con que nos amó^b, 5 aun cuando estábamos muertos en¹ nuestros delitos^a, nos dio vida juntamente con Cristo (por gracia habéis sido salvados^b), 6 y con Él nos resucitó^a, y con Él nos sentó en los lugares celestiales^b en Cristo Jesús^c, 7 a fin de poder mostrar en los siglos venideros las sobreabundantes riquezas de su gracia^a por su bondad para con nosotros en Cristo Jesús. 8 Porque por gracia habéis sido salvados^a por medio de la fe^b, y esto no de vosotros, sino que es don de Dios^c; 9 no por¹ obras^a, para que nadie se gloríe^b. 10 Porque somos hechura suya, creados^a en Cristo Jesús^b para hacer buenas obras^c, las cuales Dios preparó de antemano^d para que anduviéramos en ellas^e.

11 Recordad, pues, que en otro tiempo^a vosotros los gentiles en la carne^b, llamados incircuncisión por la tal llamada circuncisión, hecha por manos en la carne^c, 12 recordad que en ese tiempo estabais separados de Cristo, excluidos de la ciudadanía¹ de Israel^a, extraños a los pactos^b de la promesa, sin tener esperanza^c, y sin Dios^d en el mundo. 13 Pero ahora en Cristo Jesús^a, vosotros, que en otro tiempo^b estabais lejos, habéis sido acercados^c por¹ la sangre de Cristo^d. 14 Porque Él mismo es nuestra paz^a, quien de ambos pueblos hizo uno^b, derribando la pared intermedia de separación, 15 aboliendo en su carne la enemistad^a, la ley de los mandamientos expresados en ordenanzas^b, para crear en sí mismo de los dos un nuevo hombre^c, estableciendo así la paz^d, 16 y para reconciliar con Dios^a a los dos en un cuerpo^b por medio de la cruz, habiendo dado muerte en ella a la enemistad^c. 17 Y VINO Y ANUNCIÓ^a PAZ^b A VOSOTROS QUE ESTABAIS LEJOS, Y PAZ A LOS QUE ESTABAN CERCA^c; 18 porque por medio de Él los unos y los otros¹ tenemos nuestra entrada^a al Padre^b en un mismo Espíritu^c. 19 Así pues, ya no sois extraños ni extranjeros^a, sino que sois conciudadanos^b de los santos y sois de la familia¹ de Dios^c, 20 edificados^a sobre el fundamento^b de los apóstoles y profetas^c, siendo Cristo Jesús mismo la piedra angular^d, 21 en quien todo el edificio, bien ajustado, va creciendo^a para ser un templo santo en el Señor^b, 22 en quien también vosotros sois juntamente edificados^a para morada de Dios en el Espíritu^b.

And you He made alive when you were spiritually ^adead and separated from Him because of your transgressions and sins, 2 in which you ^aonce walked. You were following the ways of ^bthis world influenced by this present age, in accordance with ^cthe prince of the power of the air (Satan) , the spirit who is now at work in ^dthe disobedient the unbelieving, who fight against the purposes of God. 3 Among these unbelievers we all ^aonce lived in ^bthe passions of our flesh our behavior governed by the sinful self, indulging the desires of ¹human nature without the Holy Spirit and the impulses of the sinful mind. We were, ^cby nature, ^dchildren under the sentence of God’s wrath, ^ejust like the rest of mankind. 4 But God, being so very ^arich in mercy, because of ^bHis great and wonderful love with which He loved us, 5 even when we were spiritually ^adead and separated from Him because of our sins, He made us spiritually alive together with Christ (^bfor by His grace—His undeserved favor and mercy—you have been saved from God’s judgment). Rom 6:1-10 6 And He ^araised us up together with Him when we believed, and ^bseated us with Him in ^cthe heavenly places, because we are in ^dChrist Jesus, 7 and He did this so that in the ages to come He might clearly show the immeasurable and unsurpassed ^ariches of His grace in His ^bkindness toward us in Christ Jesus by providing for our redemption. 8 For it is ^aby grace God’s remarkable compassion and favor drawing you to Christ that you have been saved actually delivered from judgment and given eternal life ^bthrough faith. And this salvation is not of yourselves not through your own effort, but it is ^cthe undeserved, gracious gift of God; 9 ^anot as a result of your works nor your attempts to keep the Law, so that ^bno one will be able to boast or take credit in any way for his salvation. 10 For we are His workmanship His own master work, a work of art, ^acreated in ^bChrist Jesus reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, ready to be used for ^cgood works, which God ^dprepared for us beforehand taking paths which He set, so that we would ^ewalk in them living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us. Rom 1:20

11 Therefore, remember that ^aat one time ^byou Gentiles by birth, who are called “^cUncircumcision” by those who called themselves “^dCircumcision,” itself a mere mark which is made in the flesh by human hands— 12 remember that at that time you were separated from Christ excluded from any relationship with Him, ^aalienated from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers to ^bthe covenants of promise with no share in the sacred Messianic promise and without knowledge of God’s agreements, having ^cno hope in His promise and living in the world ^dwithout God. 13 But now at this very moment in ^aChrist Jesus you who ^bonce were so very ^cfar away from God have ^dbeen brought near ^1eby the blood of Christ. 14 For He Himself is ^aour peace and our bond of unity. ^bHe who made both groups— Jews and Gentiles—into one body and broke down the barrier, the dividing wall of spiritual antagonism between us, 15 by ^aabolishing in His own crucified flesh the hostility caused by ^bthe Law with its commandments contained in ordinances which He satisfied; so that in Himself He might ^cmake the two into ^done new man, thereby establishing ^epeace. 16 And that He might ^areconcile them both Jew and Gentile, united in ^bone body to God through the cross, thereby ^cputting to death the hostility. 17 AND ^aHE CAME AND PREACHED THE GOOD NEWS OF ^bPEACE TO YOU Gentiles WHO WERE ^cFAR AWAY, AND PEACE TO THOSE Jews WHO WERE ^dNEAR. Is 57:19 18 For it is through Him that we both have ^aa direct way of approach in ^bone Spirit to ^cthe Father. 19 So then you are no longer ^astrangers and aliens outsiders without rights of citizenship, but you are ^bfellow citizens with the saints (God’s people) , and are members of ^cGod’s household, 20 having been ^abuilt on ^bthe foundation of ^cthe apostles and prophets, with ^dChrist Jesus Himself as the chief ^eCornerstone, 21 ^ain whom the whole structure is joined together, and it continues to increase growing into ^ba holy temple in the Lord a sanctuary dedicated, set apart, and sacred to the presence of the Lord. 22 In Him and in fellowship with one another you also are being ^abuilt together into a ^bdwelling place of God in the Spirit.
