Denuncia contra los gobernantes

Y dije:Oíd ahora, jefes de Jacoby gobernantes de la casa de Israel^a.¿No corresponde a vosotros conocer la justicia¹^b?

2 Vosotros que aborrecéis lo bueno y amáis lo malo,que les¹ arrancáis la piel de encimay la carne de sobre sus huesos^a;3 que coméis la carne de mi pueblo^a,les¹ desolláis su piel,quebráis sus huesos,y los hacéis pedazos como para la olla^b,como carne dentro de la caldera.4 Entonces clamarán al SEÑOR,pero Él no les responderá^a;sino que esconderá de ellos su rostro en aquel tiempo^b,porque han hecho malas obras^c.

5 Así dice el SEÑOR acerca de los profetasque hacen errar a mi pueblo^a,los cuales cuando tienen algo que morder¹,proclaman: Paz^b.Pero contra aquel que no les pone nada en la boca,declaran guerra santa.6 Por tanto, para vosotros será noche sin visión^a,y oscuridad sin adivinación.Se pondrá el sol sobre los profetas,y se oscurecerá el día sobre ellos^b.7 Los videntes serán avergonzados^a,y confundidos los adivinos^b.Todos ellos se cubrirán la boca¹^cporque no hay respuesta de Dios^d.8 Yo, en cambio, estoy lleno de poder,del Espíritu del SEÑOR^a,y de juicio y de valor,para dar a conocer a Jacob su rebelión,y a Israel su pecado^b.9 Oíd ahora esto, jefes de la casa de Jacob^ay gobernantes de la casa de Israel,que aborrecéis la justicia¹^by torcéis todo lo recto,10 que edificáis a Sión con sangre^ay a Jerusalén con iniquidad.11 Sus jefes juzgan por soborno^a,sus sacerdotes enseñan por precio,sus profetas adivinan por dinero^b,y se apoyan en el SEÑOR, diciendo:¿No está el SEÑOR en medio de nosotros^c?No vendrá sobre nosotros mal alguno.12 Por tanto, a causa de vosotros,Sión será arada como un campo,Jerusalén se convertirá en un montón de ruinas^a,y el monte del templo¹ será como las alturas de un bosque^b.

Rulers Denounced

And I said,“^aHear now, heads of JacobAnd rulers of the house of Israel.Is it not for you to ^bknow and administer justice?

2 “You who hate good and love evil,Who ^atear the skin off my peopleAnd their flesh from their bones;3 You who ^aeat the flesh of my people,Strip off their skin from them,Break their bonesAnd ^bchop them in pieces as for the pot,Like meat in a kettle.”4 Then they will ^acry to the LORD,But He will not answer them;Instead, He will even ^bhide His face from them at that time withholding His mercyBecause they have ^cpracticed and tolerated and ignored evil acts. Is 1:15

5 Thus says the LORD concerning the false prophets who ^alead my people astray;When they have something good to bite with their teeth,They ^bcall out, “Peace,”But against the one who gives them nothing to eat,They declare a holy war.

6 Therefore it will be ^anight (tragedy) for you—without vision,And darkness (cataclysm) for you—without foresight.The ^bsun shall go down on the false prophets,And the day shall become dark and black over them.7 The seers shall be ^aashamedAnd the ^bdiviners discredited and embarrassed;Indeed, they shall all ^ccover their mouths in shameBecause there is ^dno answer from God.8 But in fact, ^aI am filled with power,With the Spirit of the LORD,And with justice and might,To ^bdeclare to Jacob his transgressionAnd to Israel his sin.9 Now hear this, you ^aheads of the house of JacobAnd rulers of the house of Israel,Who ^bhate and reject justiceAnd twist everything that is straight,10 Who ^abuild Zion with blood and extortion and murderAnd Jerusalem with violent injustice.11 Her leaders pronounce ^ajudgment for a bribe,Her ^bpriests teach for a fee,And her prophets foretell for money;Yet they lean on the LORD, saying,“^cIs not the LORD among us?No tragedy or distress will come on us.” Is 1:10-1512 Therefore, on account of you¹^aZion shall be plowed like a field,^bJerusalem shall become ²a heap of ruins,And the ^cmountain of the house of the LORD shall become like a densely wooded hill. Rulers Denounced

And I said,“^aHear now, you ¹leaders of JacobAnd rulers of the house of Israel:Is it not for you to ^bknow justice?

2 “You who hate good and love evil,Who ^atear off their skin from themAnd their flesh from their bones,3 Who ^aeat the flesh of my people,Strip off their skin from them,Smash their bones,And ^bchop them up as for the pot,And as meat in a cauldron!”4 Then they will ^acry out to the LORD,But He will not answer them.Instead, He will ^bhide His face from them at that timeBecause they have ^cpracticed evil deeds.

5 This is what the LORD says concerning the prophets who ^alead my people astray:When they have something to bite with their teeth,They ^bcry out, “Peace!”But against him who puts nothing in their mouthsThey declare holy war.

6 Therefore it will be ^anight for you—without vision,And darkness for you—without divination.The ^bsun will go down on the prophets,And the day will become dark over them.7 The seers will be ^aput to shame,And the ^bdiviners will be ashamed.Indeed, they will all ^ccover their ¹lipsBecause there is ^dno answer from God.8 On the other hand, ^aI am filled with power—With the Spirit of the LORD—And with justice and courageTo ^bmake known to Jacob his rebellious act,And to Israel his sin.9 Now hear this, you ^aheads of the house of JacobAnd rulers of the house of Israel,Who ^bdespise justiceAnd twist everything that is straight,10 Who ^abuild Zion with bloodshed,And Jerusalem with malice.11 Her leaders pronounce ^ajudgment for a bribe,Her ^bpriests teach for pay,And her prophets divine for money.Yet they lean on the LORD, saying,“^cIs the LORD not in our midst?Catastrophe will not come upon us.”12 Therefore on account of you,^aZion will be plowed like a field,^bJerusalem will become a heap of ruins,And the ^cmountain of the ¹temple will become high places of a forest.
