Venid, volvamos al SEÑOR^a.Pues Él nos ha desgarrado^b, y nos sanará^c;nos ha herido¹, y nos vendará^d.2 Nos dará vida^a después de dos días,al tercer día^b nos levantaráy viviremos delante de Él.3 Conozcamos, pues, esforcémonos por conocer al SEÑOR^a.Su salida es tan cierta como la aurora^b,y Él vendrá a nosotros como la lluvia,como la lluvia de primavera que riega la tierra^c.

4 ¿Qué haré contigo, Efraín^a?¿Qué haré contigo, Judá?Porque vuestra lealtad¹ es como nube matinal,y como el rocío, que temprano desaparece^b.5 Por tanto los he despedazado por medio de los profetas^a,los he matado con las palabras de mi boca^b;los juicios sobre ti son como la luz que sale.6 Porque más me deleito en la lealtad¹ que en el sacrificio^a,y más en el conocimiento de Dios que en los holocaustos^b.7 Pero ellos, como Adán¹, han transgredido el pacto^a;allí me han traicionado^b.8 Galaad^a es ciudad de malhechores,con huellas de sangre^b.9 Como bandidos al acecho de un hombre^a,es la banda de sacerdotes que asesina en el camino a Siquem^b;ciertamente han cometido iniquidad¹^c.10 En la casa de Israel he visto una cosa horrible^a:allí está la prostitución de Efraín, se ha contaminado Israel^b.11 Para ti también, oh Judá, hay preparada una cosecha^a,cuando yo restaure el bienestar¹ de mi pueblo^b.

“^aCome and let us return in repentance to the LORD,For ^bHe has torn us, but ^cHe will heal us;He has wounded us, but He will ^dbandage us.2 “After two days He will ^arevive us;On the third day He will ^braise us upThat we may live before Him. Is 26:19; Ezek 37:1-103 “So let us ^aknow and become personally acquainted with Him; let us press on to know and understand fully the greatness of the LORD to honor, heed, and deeply cherish Him.His ^bappearing is prepared and is as certain as the dawn,And He will come to us in salvation like the heavy ^crain,Like the spring rain watering the earth.”

4 O ^aEphraim, what shall I do with you?O Judah, what shall I do with you?For your wavering loyalty and kindness are transient like the ^bmorning cloudAnd like the dew that goes away early.5 Therefore, I have ^ahewn them in pieces by the words of the prophets;I have slain them by the ^bwords of My mouth;My judgments pronounced upon them by the prophets are like the light that shines forth obvious to all.6 For ^aI desire and delight in steadfast loyalty faithfulness in the covenant relationship, ^brather than sacrifice,And in the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings. Matt 9:13; 12:77 But they, ^alike Adam, have ^btransgressed the covenant;There they have ^cdealt treacherously against Me.8 ^aGilead is a city of wrongdoers;It is tracked with ^bbloody footprints.9 And as bands of ^arobbers lie in wait for a man,So a band of priests ^bmurder on the road toward ¹Shechem covering their crimes in that city of refuge;Certainly they have committed ^ccrimes and outrages.10 I have seen a ^ahorrible thing sins of every kind in the house of Israel!Ephraim’s ^bprostitution (idolatry) is there; Israel has defiled itself.11 Also, O Judah, there is a ^aharvest of divine judgment appointed for you,When I ^brestore the fortunes of My people who have been slaves to the misery of sin.
