Este es el libro de las generaciones de Adán. El día que Dios creó al hombre, a semejanza de Dios lo hizo^a. 2 Varón y hembra los creó^a; y los bendijo^b, y los llamó Adán¹ el día en que fueron creados. 3 Cuando Adán había vivido ciento treinta años, engendró un hijo a su semejanza, conforme a su imagen, y le puso por nombre Set. 4 Y los días de Adán después de haber engendrado a Set fueron ochocientos años, y engendró hijos e hijas. 5 El total de los días que Adán vivió fue de novecientos treinta años, y murió.

6 Y Set vivió ciento cinco años, y engendró a Enós. 7 Y vivió Set ochocientos siete años después de haber engendrado a Enós, y engendró hijos e hijas. 8 El total de los días de Set fue de novecientos doce años, y murió.

9 Y Enós vivió noventa años, y engendró a Cainán. 10 Y vivió Enós ochocientos quince años después de haber engendrado a Cainán, y engendró hijos e hijas. 11 El total de los días de Enós fue de novecientos cinco años, y murió.

12 Y Cainán vivió setenta años, y engendró a Mahalaleel. 13 Y vivió Cainán ochocientos cuarenta años después de haber engendrado a Mahalaleel, y engendró hijos e hijas. 14 El total de los días de Cainán fue de novecientos diez años, y murió.

15 Y Mahalaleel vivió sesenta y cinco años, y engendró a Jared. 16 Y vivió Mahalaleel ochocientos treinta años después de haber engendrado a Jared, y engendró hijos e hijas. 17 El total de los días de Mahalaleel fue de ochocientos noventa y cinco años, y murió.

18 Y Jared vivió ciento sesenta y dos años, y engendró a Enoc. 19 Y vivió Jared ochocientos años después de haber engendrado a Enoc, y engendró hijos e hijas. 20 El total de los días de Jared fue de novecientos sesenta y dos años, y murió.

21 Y Enoc vivió sesenta y cinco años, y engendró a Matusalén. 22 Y Enoc anduvo con Dios^a trescientos años después de haber engendrado a Matusalén, y engendró hijos e hijas. 23 El total de los días de Enoc fue de trescientos sesenta y cinco años. 24 Y Enoc anduvo con Dios^a, y desapareció¹ porque Dios se lo llevó^b.

25 Y Matusalén vivió ciento ochenta y siete años, y engendró a Lamec. 26 Y vivió Matusalén setecientos ochenta y dos años después de haber engendrado a Lamec, y engendró hijos e hijas. 27 El total de los días de Matusalén fue de novecientos sesenta y nueve años, y murió.

28 Y Lamec vivió ciento ochenta y dos años, y engendró un hijo. 29 Y le puso por nombre Noé¹, diciendo: Este nos dará descanso de² nuestra labor y del trabajo de nuestras manos, por causa de la tierra que el SEÑOR ha maldecido^a. 30 Y vivió Lamec quinientos noventa y cinco años después de haber engendrado a Noé, y engendró hijos e hijas. 31 El total de los días de Lamec fue de setecientos setenta y siete años, y murió.

32 Y Noé tenía quinientos años^a, y¹ engendró a Sem, a Cam y a Jafet.

This is the book (the written record, the history) of the generations of the descendants of Adam. When God created man, He made him ^ain the likeness of God not physical, but a spiritual personality and moral likeness. 2 He created them ^amale and female, and ^bblessed them and named them ¹Mankind at the time they were created.

3 When Adam had lived a hundred and thirty years, he ¹became the father of a son in his own likeness, according to his image, and named him Seth. 4 After he became the father of Seth, Adam lived eight hundred years and had other sons and daughters. 5 So Adam lived nine hundred and thirty years in all, and he died.

6 When Seth was a hundred and five years old, he became the father of Enosh. 7 Seth lived eight hundred and seven years after the birth of Enosh, and he had other sons and daughters. 8 So Seth lived nine hundred and twelve years, and he died.

9 When Enosh was ninety years old, he became the father of Kenan. 10 Enosh lived eight hundred and fifteen years after the birth of Kenan and had other sons and daughters. 11 So Enosh lived nine hundred and five years, and he died.

12 When Kenan was seventy years old, he became the father of Mahalalel. 13 Kenan lived eight hundred and forty years after the birth of Mahalalel and had other sons and daughters. 14 So Kenan lived nine hundred and ten years, and he died.

15 When Mahalalel was sixty-five years old, he became the father of Jared. 16 Mahalalel lived eight hundred and thirty years after the birth of Jared and had other sons and daughters. 17 So Mahalalel lived eight hundred and ninety-five years, and he died.

18 When Jared was a hundred and sixty-two years old, he became the father of Enoch. 19 Jared lived eight hundred years after the birth of Enoch and had other sons and daughters. 20 So Jared lived nine hundred and sixty-two years, and he died.

21 When Enoch was sixty-five years old, he became the father of Methuselah. 22 Enoch ^awalked in habitual fellowship with God three hundred years after the birth of Methuselah and had other sons and daughters. 23 So all the days of Enoch were three hundred and sixty-five years. 24 And in reverent fear and obedience ^aEnoch walked with God; and he was not found among men, because God ^btook him away to be home with Him. 25 When Methuselah was a hundred and eighty-seven years old, he became the father of Lamech. 26 Methuselah lived seven hundred and eighty-two years after the birth of Lamech and had other sons and daughters. 27 So Methuselah lived nine hundred and sixty-nine years, and he died.

28 When Lamech was a hundred and eighty-two years old, he became the father of a son. 29 He named him Noah, saying, “This one shall bring us rest and comfort from our work and from the dreadful toil of our hands because of ^athe ground which the LORD cursed.” 30 Lamech lived five hundred and ninety-five years after the birth of Noah and had other sons and daughters. 31 So all the days of Lamech were seven hundred and seventy-seven years, and he died.

32 After Noah was ^afive hundred years old, he became the father of Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

9 Enosh lived ninety years, and became the father of Kenan. 10 Then Enosh lived eight hundred and fifteen years after he became the father of Kenan, and he had other sons and daughters. 11 So all the days of Enosh were nine hundred and five years, and he died.

12 Kenan lived seventy years, and became the father of Mahalalel. 13 Then Kenan lived eight hundred and forty years after he became the father of Mahalalel, and he had other sons and daughters. 14 So all the days of Kenan were nine hundred and ten years, and he died.

15 Mahalalel lived sixty-five years, and became the father of Jared. 16 Then Mahalalel lived eight hundred and thirty years after he became the father of Jared, and he had other sons and daughters. 17 So all the days of Mahalalel were eight hundred and ninety-five years, and he died.

18 Jared lived one hundred and sixty-two years, and became the father of Enoch. 19 Then Jared lived eight hundred years after he became the father of Enoch, and he had other sons and daughters. 20 So all the days of Jared were nine hundred and sixty-two years, and he died.

21 Enoch lived sixty-five years, and became the father of Methuselah. 22 Then Enoch ^awalked with God three hundred years after he became the father of Methuselah, and he had other sons and daughters. 23 So all the days of Enoch were three hundred and sixty-five years. 24 ^aEnoch walked with God; and he was not, for God ^btook him.

25 Methuselah lived one hundred and eighty-seven years, and became the father of Lamech. 26 Then Methuselah lived seven hundred and eighty-two years after he became the father of Lamech, and he had other sons and daughters. 27 So all the days of Methuselah were nine hundred and sixty-nine years, and he died.

28 Lamech lived one hundred and eighty-two years, and became the father of a son. 29 Now he called his name Noah, saying, “This one will ¹give us rest from our work and from the toil of our hands arising from ^athe ground which the LORD has cursed.” 30 Then Lamech lived five hundred and ninety-five years after he became the father of Noah, and he had other sons and daughters. 31 So all the days of Lamech were seven hundred and seventy-seven years, and he died.

32 Noah was ^afive hundred years old, and Noah became the father of Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
