Alcé de nuevo mis ojos y miré, y he aquí un rollo que volaba^a. 2 Y me dijo el ángel: ¿Qué ves? Y respondí^a: Veo un rollo que vuela; su longitud es de veinte codos¹ y su anchura de diez codos. 3 Entonces me dijo: Esta es la maldición que sale sobre la faz de toda la tierra^a; ciertamente todo el que roba será destruido según lo escrito^1b en un lado, y todo el que jura será destruido según lo escrito² en el otro lado^c. 4 La haré salir—declara el SEÑOR de los ejércitos^a—y entrará en casa del ladrón^b y en casa del que jura por mi nombre en falso^c; y pasará la noche dentro de su casa y la consumirá junto con sus maderas y sus piedras^d.

5 Salió el ángel que hablaba conmigo^a, y me dijo: Alza ahora tus ojos y mira qué es esto que sale. 6 Y dije: ¿Qué es? Y él dijo: Esto es el efa¹ que sale. Y añadió: Esta es la iniquidad² de ellos en toda la tierra^a. 7 Y he aquí, una tapa de plomo fue levantada, y había¹ una mujer sentada dentro del efa. 8 Entonces dijo: Esta es la Maldad^a. Y la arrojó al interior del efa y arrojó la tapa¹ de plomo sobre su abertura². 9 Luego alcé los ojos y miré, y he aquí dos mujeres salían con el viento en sus alas; y tenían alas como alas de cigüeña, y alzaron el efa entre la tierra y el cielo^a. 10 Dije entonces al ángel que hablaba conmigo: ¿Adónde llevan el efa? 11 Y me respondió: A la tierra de Sinar^a para edificarle un templo¹; y cuando esté preparado, será asentado allí sobre su base.

Again I looked up, and I saw a ^ascroll flying in the air! 2 And the angel said to me, “^aWhat do you see?” And I answered, “I see a ¹flying scroll; its length is twenty cubits (thirty feet) and its width is ten cubits (fifteen feet) .” 3 Then he said to me, “This is the ^acurse that is going out over the face of the whole land; for everyone who ^bsteals will be cut off according to the writing on one side, and everyone who ^cswears oaths falsely shall be cut off according to the writing on the other side. Is 24:6; Mal 3:8, 9 4 I will ^asend the curse out,” declares the LORD of hosts, “and it will ^benter the house of the ^cthief and the house of the one who swears falsely by My name; and it will spend the night in that house and ^dconsume it, both its timber and its stones.”

5 Then ^athe angel who was speaking with me came forward and said to me, “Now look up and see what this is going forth.” 6 And I said, “What is it?” And he said, “This is the ^1aephah (grain basket) going forth. This,” he continued, “is their appearance throughout the land Amos 8:5 7 (and behold, a round, flat lead ¹cover was lifted up); and there sat a woman inside the ephah.” 8 Then he said, “This is ^aWickedness (Godlessness) !” And he threw her back down into the middle of the ephah and threw the lead cover on its opening. 9 Then I looked up, and there were two women coming out with the wind in their wings; and they had wings like the wings of a ^astork, and they lifted up the ephah between the earth and the heavens. 10 I said to the angel who was speaking with me, “Where are they taking the ephah?” 11 And he said to me, “To the land of ^aShinar (Babylon) to build a temple for her; and when it is prepared, ¹she shall be set there on her own pedestal.”

Then I lifted up my eyes again and looked, and behold, there was a flying ^ascroll. 2 And he said to me, “^aWhat do you see?” And I answered, “I see a flying scroll; its length is twenty ¹cubits and its width ten cubits.” 3 Then he said to me, “This is the ^acurse that is going forth over the face of the whole ¹land; surely everyone who ^bsteals will be purged away according to ²the writing on one side, and everyone who ^cswears will be purged away according to ³the writing on the other side. 4 I will ^amake it go forth,” declares the LORD of hosts, “and it will ^benter the house of the ^cthief and the house of the one who swears falsely by My name; and it will spend the night within that house and ^dconsume it with its timber and stones.”
