2 Oíd, pueblos todos1,escucha, tierra y cuanto hay en tia;sea el Señor DIOS2 testigo contra vosotrosb,el Señor desde su santo templo.3 Porque he aquí, el SEÑOR sale de su lugara,y descenderá y hollará las alturas de la tierrab.4 Debajo de Él los montes se derretirána,y los valles se hendirán,como la cera ante el fuego,como las aguas derramadas por una pendiente.5 Todo esto por la rebelión de Jacoby por los pecados de la casa de Israel.¿Cuál es la rebelión de Jacoba?¿No es Samariab?¿Cuál es el lugar alto1 de Judá?¿No es Jerusalénc?6 Haré, pues, de Samaria un montón de ruinas en el1 campoa,lugares para plantar viñasb;derramaré sus piedras por el vallec,y pondré al descubierto sus cimientosd.7 Todos sus ídolos serán destrozadosa,y todas sus ganancias serán quemadas por el fuego,y asolaré todas sus imágenes,porque las juntó de ganancias de ramerab,y a ganancias de ramera volverán.
8 Por eso me lamentaré y gemiré,andaré descalzo y desnudoa,daré aullidos como los chacalesy lamentos como los avestrucesb.9 Porque es incurable su herida1a,pues ha llegado hasta Judáb;se ha acercado hasta la puerta de mi pueblo,hasta Jerusalénc.10 En Gat no lo anunciéisa,tampoco1 lloréis.En Bet-le-afrá2 revuélcate en el polvo.11 Vete1 al cautiverio, habitante de Safir2, en vergonzosa desnudeza.La que habita en Zaanán3b no escapa4.La lamentación de Bet-esel5 esque Él quitará de vosotros su apoyo6.12 Porque se debilita esperando el bienala que habita en Marot1,pues la calamidad ha descendido del SEÑORhasta la puerta de Jerusalénb.13 Unce al carro los corceles,habitante de Laquisa(ella fue principio de pecadopara la hija de Sión);porque en ti fueron halladaslas rebeliones de Israelb.14 Por tanto, darás presentesa de despedidaa Moréset-gat;las casas de Aczib1b serán un engañocpara los reyes de Israel.15 Además, traeré contra tial que toma posesión,oh habitante de Maresa1a.Hasta Adulam se irá la gloria de Israelb.16 Arráncate los cabellos y ráeteapor los hijos de tus delicias;ensancha tu calva como la del buitre,porque irán al cautiverio lejos de tib.
