Respondió el SEÑOR a Moisés: Ahora verás lo que haré a Faraón; porque por la fuerza¹ los dejará ir; y por la fuerza² los echará de su tierra^a.

2 Continuó hablando Dios a Moisés, y le dijo: Yo soy el SEÑOR^a; 3 y me aparecí a Abraham, a Isaac y a Jacob como Dios Todopoderoso¹, mas por mi nombre, SEÑOR², no me di a conocer a ellos^a. 4 También establecí mi pacto con ellos, de darles la tierra de Canaán, la tierra donde¹ peregrinaron^a. 5 Y además, he oído el gemido de los hijos de Israel, porque los egipcios los tienen esclavizados, y me he acordado de mi pacto^a. 6 Por tanto, di a los hijos de Israel: «Yo soy el SEÑOR^a, y os sacaré de debajo de las cargas de los egipcios^b, y os libraré de su esclavitud, y os redimiré con brazo extendido y con juicios grandes^c. 7 Y os tomaré por pueblo mío¹, y yo seré vuestro Dios²; y sabréis que yo soy el SEÑOR vuestro Dios^a, que os sacó de debajo de las cargas de los egipcios^b. 8 Y os traeré a la tierra que juré¹ dar a Abraham, a Isaac y a Jacob^a, y os la daré por heredad^b. Yo soy el SEÑOR^c». 9 De esta manera habló Moisés a los hijos de Israel, pero ellos no escucharon a Moisés a causa del desaliento¹ y de la dura servidumbre^a.

10 Entonces habló el SEÑOR a Moisés, diciendo: 11 Ve, habla a Faraón, rey de Egipto, para que deje salir a los hijos de Israel de su tierra^a. 12 Pero Moisés habló delante del SEÑOR, diciendo: He aquí, los hijos de Israel no me han escuchado; ¿cómo, pues, me escuchará Faraón, siendo yo torpe de palabra^1a? 13 Entonces el SEÑOR habló a Moisés y a Aarón, y les dio órdenes para los hijos de Israel y para Faraón, rey de Egipto, a fin de sacar a los hijos de Israel de la tierra de Egipto.

14 Estos son los jefes de las casas paternas. Los hijos de Rubén, primogénito de Israel: Hanoc, Falú, Hezrón y Carmi. Estas son las familias de Rubén^a. 15 Y los hijos de Simeón: Jemuel¹, Jamín, Ohad, Jaquín², Zohar³ y Saúl, hijo de una cananea. Estas son las familias de Simeón^a. 16 ^aY estos son los nombres de los hijos de Leví según sus generaciones: Gersón, Coat y Merari. Y los años de la vida de Leví fueron ciento treinta y siete años. 17 Los hijos de Gersón: Libni¹ y Simei, según sus familias^a. 18 Y los hijos de Coat: Amram, Izhar, Hebrón y Uziel^a. Y los años de la vida de Coat fueron ciento treinta y tres años. 19 Y los hijos de Merari: Mahli y Musi. Estas son las familias de los levitas según sus generaciones^a. 20 Y Amram tomó por mujer a Jocabed, su tía, y ella le dio a luz a Aarón y a Moisés^a; y los años de la vida de Amram fueron ciento treinta y siete años. 21 Y los hijos de Izhar: Coré^a, Nefeg y Zicri. 22 Y los hijos de Uziel: Misael, Elzafán^1a y Sitri. 23 Y Aarón tomó por mujer a Eliseba, hija de Aminadab^a, hermana de Naasón^b, y ella le dio a luz a Nadab, Abiú, Eleazar e Itamar^c. 24 Y los hijos de Coré: Asir, Elcana y Abiasaf^1a. Estas son las familias de los coreítas. 25 Y Eleazar^a, hijo de Aarón, tomó por mujer a una de las hijas de Futiel, y ella le dio a luz a Finees^b. Estos son los jefes de las casas paternas de los levitas, según sus familias. 26 Estos son Aarón y Moisés a quienes dijo el SEÑOR: Sacad a los hijos de Israel de la tierra de Egipto por sus ejércitos^a. 27 Ellos fueron los que hablaron a Faraón, rey de Egipto, para sacar a los hijos de Israel de Egipto, esto es, Moisés y Aarón^a.

28 Y sucedió que el día que el SEÑOR habló a Moisés en la tierra de Egipto, 29 el SEÑOR habló a Moisés, diciendo: Yo soy el SEÑOR^a; di a Faraón, rey de Egipto, todo lo que yo te diga^b. 30 Pero Moisés dijo delante del SEÑOR: He aquí, yo soy torpe de palabra¹, ¿cómo, pues, me escuchará Faraón^a?

Then the LORD said to Moses, “Now you shall see what I will do to Pharaoh; for ^1aunder compulsion he will not only let them go, but under compulsion he will drive them out of his land.”

2 Then God spoke further to Moses and said to him, “I am ^athe LORD. Ex 3:14 3 I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob (Israel) as ^aGod Almighty El Shaddai, but by ^bMy ¹name, ²LORD, I did not make Myself known to them in acts and great miracles. Gen 17:1 4 I also established ^aMy covenant with them, to give them the land of Canaan, the land in which they lived as strangers (temporary residents, foreigners) . Gen 12:1-3; 13:14-17; 15:18-21; 17:19; 26:3, 4; 28:13 5 And I have also ^aheard the groaning of the sons of Israel, whom the Egyptians have enslaved, and I have faithfully remembered My covenant with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. 6 Therefore, say to the children of Israel, ‘^aI am the LORD, and ^bI will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will free you from their bondage. I will ^credeem and rescue you with ^dan outstretched (vigorous, powerful) arm and with great acts of judgment against Egypt. 7 Then I will take you ^afor My people, and ^bI will be your God; and ^cyou shall know that I am the LORD your God, who redeemed you and brought you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians. 8 I will bring you to the land which I ^1aswore to give to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob (Israel) ; and ^bI will give it to you as a possession. ^cI am the LORD you have the promise of My changeless omnipotence and faithfulness.’” 9 Moses told this to the Israelites, but they did not listen to him ^abecause of their ¹impatience and despondency, and because of their forced labor.

10 The LORD spoke to Moses, saying, 11 “^aGo, tell Pharaoh king of Egypt to let the children of Israel go out of his land.” 12 But Moses said to the LORD, “Look, my own people the Israelites have not listened to me; so ^ahow then will Pharaoh listen to me, for I am ^1bunskilled and inept in speech?” 13 Then the LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron, and gave them a command concerning the Israelites and Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring the Israelites out of the land of Egypt.

14 These are the heads of their fathers’ households. ^aThe sons of Reuben, Israel’s (Jacob’s) firstborn: Hanoch and Pallu, Hezron and Carmi; these are the families of Reuben. 15 The ^asons of Simeon: Jemuel, Jamin, Ohad, Jachin, Zohar, and Shaul the son of a Canaanite woman; these are the families of Simeon. 16 These are the names of ^athe sons of Levi according to their births: Gershon, Kohath, and Merari; and Levi lived a hundred and thirty-seven years. 17 ^aThe sons of Gershon: Libni and Shimei, by their families. 18 ^aThe sons of Kohath: Amram (Moses’ father) , Izhar, Hebron, and Uzziel; and Kohath lived a hundred and thirty-three years. 19 ^aThe sons of Merari: Mahli and Mushi. These are the families of Levi according to their generations. 20 ^aAmram married his father’s sister Jochebed, and she gave birth to Aaron and Moses; and Amram lived a hundred and thirty-seven years. 21 ^aThe sons of Izhar: Korah, Nepheg, and Zichri. 22 ^aThe sons of Uzziel: Mishael, Elzaphan, and Sithri. 23 Aaron married Elisheba, the daughter of ^aAmminadab and the sister of ^bNahshon, and she gave birth to ^cNadab, Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar. 24 The ^asons of Korah: Assir, Elkanah, and Abiasaph. These are the extended families of the Korahites. 25 ^aEleazar, Aaron’s son, married one of the daughters of Putiel, and she gave birth to ^bPhinehas. These are the heads of the fathers’ households of the Levites by their families. 26 These are the same Aaron and Moses to whom the LORD said, “^aBring the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt by their ^1barmies.” 27 They were the ones ^awho spoke to Pharaoh king of Egypt about bringing the Israelites out of Egypt; these are the same Moses and Aaron.

28 Now it happened on the day when the LORD spoke to Moses in the land of Egypt, 29 that He said, “^aI am the LORD; ^btell Pharaoh king of Egypt everything that I say to you.” 30 But Moses said before the LORD, “Look, I am ^1aunskilled and inept in speech; how then will Pharaoh listen to me and pay attention to what I say?”

Then the LORD said to Moses, “Now you shall see what I will do to Pharaoh; for ^1aunder compulsion he will let them go, and ²under compulsion he will drive them out of his land.”

2 God spoke further to Moses and said to him, “I am ^athe LORD; 3 and I appeared to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, as ^1aGod Almighty, but by ^bMy name, ²LORD, I did not make Myself known to them. 4 I also established ^aMy covenant with them, to give them the land of Canaan, the ¹land in which they sojourned. 5 Furthermore I have ^aheard the groaning of the sons of Israel, because the Egyptians are holding them in bondage, and I have remembered My covenant. 6 Say, therefore, to the sons of Israel, ‘^aI am the LORD, and ^bI will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will deliver you from their bondage. I will also ^credeem you with ^dan outstretched arm and with great judgments. 7 Then I will take you ^1afor My people, and ^bI will be ²your God; and ^cyou shall know that I am the LORD your God, who brought you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians. 8 I will bring you to the land which ^aI ¹swore to give to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and ^bI will give it to you for a possession; ^cI am the LORD.’” 9 So Moses spoke thus to the sons of Israel, but they did not listen to Moses on ^aaccount of their ¹despondency and cruel bondage.

10 Now the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, 11 “^aGo, ¹tell Pharaoh king of Egypt ²to let the sons of Israel go out of his land.” 12 But Moses spoke before the LORD, saying, “Behold, the sons of Israel have not listened to me; ^ahow then will Pharaoh listen to me, for I am ^1bunskilled in speech?” 13 Then the LORD spoke to Moses and to Aaron, and gave them a charge to the sons of Israel and to Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring the sons of Israel out of the land of Egypt.

28 Now it came about on the day when the LORD spoke to Moses in the land of Egypt, 29 that the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, “^aI am the LORD; ^bspeak to Pharaoh king of Egypt all that I speak to you.” 30 But Moses said before the LORD, “Behold, I am ^1aunskilled in speech; how then will Pharaoh listen to me?”

These are the families of the Levites according to their generations. 20 Now ^aAmram ¹married his father’s sister Jochebed, and she bore him Aaron and Moses; and the ²length of Amram’s life was 137 years. 21 And ^athe sons of Izhar: Korah, Nepheg, and Zichri. 22 And ^athe sons of Uzziel: Mishael, ¹Elzaphan, and Sithri. 23 Aaron ¹married Elisheba, the daughter of ^aAmminadab, the sister of ^bNahshon, and she bore him ^cNadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar. 24 And the ^asons of Korah: Assir, Elkanah, and ¹Abiasaph; these are the families of the Korahites. 25 Now Aaron’s son ^aEleazar ¹married one of the daughters of Putiel, and she bore him ^bPhinehas. 28 Now it came about on the day when the LORD spoke to Moses in the land of Egypt, 29 that the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, “^aI am the LORD; ^bsay to Pharaoh king of Egypt all that I say to you.” 30 But Moses said before the LORD, “Behold, I am ^1aunskilled in speech; how then will Pharaoh listen to me?”
